"Well, do you think we really did it? Think we actually stopped the apocalypse," Five asks making me look over at him.

"I don't know... Maybe," I shrug. "If we did, now what?"

"Now what? I don't know," He admits, chuckling softly. "I'm open to suggestion." Suddenly, there's a knock at the door, making him speak. "I'll get it." He stands up, kissing the top of my head, before he leaves the room. I hear him open the door when he speaks. "Do you have my sister? And... if not, would you like a margarita?" "Come on." I hear his footsteps walking back into the room, making me turn around. My eyes widen when I see Hazel following him.

"Five, what the hell is he doing here," I exclaim, jumping up.

"I don't know. You here to kill me?"

"Oh. Shit. Sorry. Old habits," He says, holstering his gun.

Huh?

"Well, I can understand why you might feel that way you know..."

"Well, you attacked our house, tried to kill my family, and kidnapped my brother," Five points out.

"Well, there's not much I can do about the past. Don't forget, I'm not the only killer in this room. You got your own bloody history, pal," He sighs. "Speaking of which, the job you did in Calhoun, that shit's legendary. Can't believe I'm actually sittin' here talkin' to you, after all--"

"Hazel, why are you here," Five cuts him off.

"Well, I'm, you know--," He starts when Diego suddenly kicks the back of his legs.

"Diego, stop," Five exclaims. He jumps over him, and Five sighs, rolling his eyes. Diego proceedes to kick Hazel in the face a couple of times, punching him. "You know, before you kill him, you might wanna hear what he has to say," Five states, as Hazel punches Diego in the cut, knocking him down. Hazel stands up, and Diego jumps up.

"I'm gonna kill you for what you did to Patch," Diego growls, breathlessly. Hazel looks at us, and I shrug. Diego tries to slice him with his knife, making Five speak.

"Or don't. See how that goes," He mutters, annoyed.

"Are you gonna--," Hazel starts as Diego stabs at him. Hazel catches one of his hands, but Diego stabs him in the leg with his other hand. Hazel yells out in pain, and I wince. Hazel punches Diego in the head, and I speak.

"That's gotta hurt," I comment. Hazel pulls the knife out, and Diego jumps up, punching Hazel in the face. He, then, does a backflip and kicks him in the face, in the process. Five looks at me, making me scoff. "You think I'm gonna stop Diego from killing that bastard? You're dead wrong."

I hear Hazel scream making me look up to see Diego biting his ear. Five sets his drink down, teleporting over to Diego and smashing a glass over his head. Diego falls to the floor, releasing Hazel. "I draw the line at biting," Five says, walking back over to me. "Hazel, whatever you came here to say, I suggest you make it quick, before he comes 'round."

"I left my partner, quit the Commission, came here to volunteer," He sums everything up.

"For what," I ask.

"To help stop the apocalypse," He answers, brushing the glass off his shoulder.

"Hm," He chuckles, sipping his drink.

"What on earth could be so funny to you right now?"

"Before I answer that, why do you wanna help us?"

"Let's just say I have a vested interest in a doughnut shop."

"Well, I hate to break it to you, pal, but you're a day late and a dollar short. The fact that you're here right now means, without a shadow of a doubt, that the apocalypse is over."

"Really? How do you know?"

"The mark is dead. Found him this morning. You were the last known unknown left in the equation," He answers.

"Shit. Really?"

"Mm-hmm. And if you're out, then Hellrider ain't riding," Five nods.

"Oh," He says, sounding relieved. "All right," He says, walking over to us. He grabs the extra margarita and downs half of it. "So now what?"

"You know, to be honest, I don't know," Five admits. "I've been chasing this thing for so long, I... I never really thought about the day after. I don't know. What about you?"

"I'm done with all this madness. Time to start over. You should do the same."

"That's easier said than done."

"It doesn't have to be hard. I mean, think about it like this. If you never time traveled, you never got caught him with the Handler, what would have happened?" He glances at Diego, before looking at me.

"I think I know," He answers making me smile.

"Well, there you go. Now you can grow up. Good luck," He says, standing up. "And hey, what it's worth, sorry for attacking you," He adds to me.

"No hard feelings," I assure him.

"Hazel. One more thing before you go," Five says, turning around.

"Shoot."

"Which one of you was the trigger man for Detective Patch?"

"Trigger woman."

"Huh. That's too bad. That gun could have cleared my brother's name."

"Well, today's your lucky day, amigo," He says, pulling two guns out and setting them down on the bar. "Take 'em both. I'm done with this life."
