Picnic

Skyler ran through the woods to the perfect spot with Noah trailing behind her. She came to a stop, huffing and smiling at the picnic table that was abandoned. The wood was dirty with a few cuts and carvings in it, it had a big split right down the table top and a few other dents in the seats. Skyler giggled and went over to help him. "Wuts that?" Noah asked, gaining his composure a bit. "It's a table, duh" She replied, looking towards him whilst holding back a laugh. He narrowed his eyes a bit, looking a bit tired with Skyler's jokes the whole way here (she will stop at n o t h i n g to make a bad pun or joke)

Skyler finished cleaning the table, flipping the picnic cloth around, flicking the dirt off then laid it down on the table. Noah was staring at the ground with a basket in his hand, trying not to trip on the roots. He put the basket down, smiling at Skyler who smiled back sweetly (uwu cuties, I love them). Skyler opened the basket, putting down the food and sitting down

Laughter and birds whistling was all that was heard in the thick forest, Skyler finished eating and Noah was cleaning up. After they finished being weirdos they sat down in silence, listening to the nature around them, smiling like idiots and dopes, staring at the sky. "Do you ever just..want to fall asleep and never wake up?" Noah said, not realizing how suicidal that sounded "bro- that sounds like a suicide wish-" Skyler chuckled "you know what I mean, like just relax for ever, ya know?" Skyler hummed in response, getting too tired to respond "let's go back home" She yawned "Kay" They stood up in unison and stretched, cracking bones and popping their necks, laughing at how in sync they were.

Skyler flopped down on the couch passing out immediately, Noah looked over and smiled a bit, going upstairs to get a blanket for her. He got blankets and pillows, making her comfortable while trying not to disturb her, sitting beside her, watching TV
