"N - Nightmare! I'm cold!" A little blue skeleton exclaimed, literally shaking out his boots. (Quaking out my timbers-)

"Ok? What does that have to do with me?" A grumpy octopus asked, looking over at the blue fellow.

"It's cold! You could at least put on the heat since it's winter...please!" The blue one cried out.

The octopus thought for a moment before opening his arms, "cmon." He demanded. The smaller looked confused, unsure what Nightmare meant. Nightmare growled, "come on before I change my mind damnit." He stated. Blueberry then got the point and smiled before hopping into his arms.

Wondering what's going on? Well...long story short , Nightmare needed Blueberry for a mission so he kidnapped him. He knew the star sans were sneaky so he kept Blueberry in his room. Well, that's what he claimed at least. He had feelings for the little guy...so they were watching a movie and laying in Nightmare's bed. Blue didn't get any cover though since Nightmare didn't want to show his true colors.

"For you to be a bad guy...you sure are nice.." Blueberry mumbled out, nuzzling his head on Nightmare's chest as he gained the heat from the taller. Nightmare blushed lightly, grumbling out "don't get too comfortable.."

"Hey...have you ever thought of retiring as a villain..?" Blueberry asked softly. Nightmare let out a sigh, looking at the TV. "Honestly...I don't plan on doing that..there has to be a bad guy." Nightmare replied, pulling Blueberry closer to his body. Blueberry purred at the heat he was receiving, plus he was happy that Nightmare was cuddling him.

"I don't see why others despise you...your just a sweetheart with a force field." Blueberry said, a small yawn coming from him. Nightmare smiled slightly, closing his eye sockets, "I don't blame them..I'm a jerk after all. It's okay tho, keeping a force field up doesn't hurt me." He replied. Blue frowned, looking up at Nightmare. "But doesn't it hurt a little Nighty..? Knowing that barely anyone likes you..?" He asked softly. Nightmare looked down at him and shook his head no. "Honestly...there's this one person I like..and I really do hope he likes me. I don't care if other people do...it's just this one person that makes me..I dunno, feel happy?" He said in a questionable tone, his cheeks fuming with blue.

"Awe, that's cute! I never knew you could like someone." Blue said obliviously. Nightmare blinked and his mouth formed into a straight line. Blueberry paused before apologizing. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for it to sound like that!" He exclaimed, full panic could be heard in his voice. Nightmare let out a chuckle. "It's okay kid."

"No it's not! That was so disrespectful of me!" Blue whined out, covering his face. "I'm so sorry!"

"Blueberry, it's cool. Chill out." He stated, getting annoyed of him already. "No-" "Yes." Nightmare interrupted the smaller.

Blueberry looked away as tears pricked into the corners of his eye sockets. Nightmare let out a sigh and grabbed his chin roughly and pulled him into a passionate kiss.

Blueberry's face lit up but kissed back, his hands placing themselves on the tallers chest. Nightmare leaned back and looked at him, "it's all okay, there's no reason to cry." Blueberry couldn't help but smile, "Yea...I guess your right. Wait- what are you gonna do about the person you like?" Blueberry asked.

Nightmare just looked at him in disappointment. "I know your oblivious but not THAT oblivious...c'mon now." Blueberry paused and thought about it.

~20 minutes later~

"Blueberry, your the one I like." Nightmare told him in an irritated tone. He was getting impatient since Blueberry was thinking about it for 20 minutes.

"M - me?" Blueberry gulped. Nightmare nodded.

A huge smile appeared of Blue's face and he hugged Nightmare around the neck, "I like you too!" He giggled out. Nightmare rested his hands on Blueberry's hips, softly replying with "I love you."

"I love you too..Nighty."

For the rest of the night, they were talking about random things, enjoying one another's warmth and voice.
