Steal Your Heart (Camila/ You)

Chapter 7

"How did Sinu find out?" Dinah asked. We were sitting at our now regular table for lunch. It turns out both Dinah and Amie are crap at keeping secrets cause now the whole group knows. Well everyone but Camila.

"She said she'd known for years" I replied. Camila wasn't here yet since she had to go to her locker which have us a chance to talk.

"That's so weird! What else did she say?" Ally asked.

"She told me not to give up cause she thinks Camila likes me to" I said. I sighed. I'm not sure about that though.

"She's coming" Normani whisper shouted. "So yeah did you do that homework?" Normani continued. I tried to keep in my laugh but was failing badly.

"Hey guys" Camila said sitting herself down between myself and Lauren. We all mumbled hellos before getting back to our food. "What were you guys talking about?" Camila asked. Everyone suddenly went completely silent.

"We uh were you know" I started hoping someone would help me out.

"Y/N has something to tell you" Amie said. My head snapped towards her.

"You do?" Camila asked. 'Im gonna get you' I mouthed to Amie who was next to me before turning back to Camila.

"Uh yeah well uh you see" I tried. Camila looked at me clueless of what was going on. "I was thinking and came to the conclusion that birds are a cool animal" I said whilst mentally hitting myself. Camila laughed.

"That's what you wanted to tell me? That birds are cool?" Camila asked a little unsure.

"Yep" I nodded while letting out an awkward laugh. I kicked Amie's leg under the table.

"OW" she shouted. Everyone looked at her. "Sorry" Amie mumbled before hitting my leg under the table although it didn't hurt.

"Amie will you come with me to my locker?" Lauren asked. Amie nodded straight away before getting up and they both left.

"What's going on with them?" Ally asked.

"Apparently they have a thing" I said. They all looked wide eyed. Same reaction as me.

"How long has this been going on?" Dinah asked. I shrugged.

"Not sure, Ariana told me although have you not noticed them being a flirty?" I said and they all laughed while nodding.

"Y/N will you come with me to my locker?" Camila asked. I turned to look at her.

"But you just went" I said. She laughed.

"Yeah but I left something" she replied. I agreed and we both walked out together. We didn't end up at her locker though but in an empty music practice room.

"What are we doing here?" I asked a little confused.

"Well I need to talk to you and this was the quietist place I could think of" I was beginning to get nervous. What did she want to talk to me about. Oh god what if he heard my conversation with Sinu. "Calm down" she said grabbing my hand.

"What?" I replied.

"You look like your about to have a heart attack" Camila laughed. "Anyway I just wanted to thank you for taking me home since I haven't had the chance yet. My mom told me that you brought me home when I fell asleep" Camila said. I sighed in relief.

"It's alright, I mean I didn't want to wake you you looked peaceful and I find it hard to fall asleep so I didn't want to wake you up just in case you have trouble sleeping" I began rambling.

"Yeah well thank you" Camila smiled. "Not many people would do that for me I'm really grateful to have someone like you even though you are still seen as this big bad popular school girl that everyone wants to be but is too afraid to talk to" Camila said.

"What like you?" I blurted out making Camila frown.

"What?" Camila said. I'm an Idiot.

"Nothing" I said quickly.

"No, I'm listening" Camila smirked.

"Well it's just your mum told me how you always refused to talk to me because of who I was" I said. Camila laughed.

"I can't say that isn't true cause that wouldn't be the truth but I was never scared of you, I was never scared to talk to you it was more about people thinking I was weird for even trying to talk to you" Camila said.

"It's fine Camila really, I'm grateful to have you in my life to, your cute, smart, funny, talented and one of the bestest friends in the whole wide world" I said. I noticed a blush form on her face which made me smile.

"love you Y/N" Camila said wrapping her arms around me.

"I love you to Camila" I replied knowing we both said the same thing but they meant completely different things which kinda hurt but I was okay. I may never give up on Camila but I already know that she's the girl people get in fairy tales, the one everyone wants but your lucky to have her. I just have a feeling I'm not so lucky.
