Love is Overrated

Chapter 4

Lucas pov:
I wake up to the sound of my alarm, I get up wash up. When I looked in the mirror to fix my hair I see that I don't have bags under my eyes, so I was kinda relived because I didn't want my first day going to my new school and to be seen having bags under my eyes. Then I continue getting dressed for school, I go to the kitchen to get some breakfast, I then find a note on the refrigerator that said:
Hey Lucas sorry but we had to go on an urgent business trip we're not going to come back in till next Sunday. So can you unpack your boxes and other boxes in the house, also we left our credit card so buy some food for yourself. Bye love you! -Veronica & Maya
I sighed and thought, well at least I can buy food, this is also not the first time they've done this. So might as well unpack when I get out of school, there isn't even any boxes so it'll only take one day to unpack everything and get everything organized. I cook an omelet for myself and when I finished it I walked to school early so I could find out my classes.

Adrian pov:
I get up from my alarm going off, and by this time my uncle was already up and ready to drive us to our house and get ready. I woke up Leah and we went to our house, I got Leah dressed, washed up and I got dressed quickly, and grabbed my bag. But right before I could open the door to leave, I hear my dad say, "So you left the house with Leah and didn't even tell us?", Leah stood behind me and hugged me tightly in fear. "Well you guys drank to much I didn't want to disturb you" I answered with sassiness, "I'll talk to you later so don't think your oof the hook that easily, come on Leah I'm going to take you to school today." My Dad said that very firmly, "No I wanna go with Uncle and big brother!" While my little sister said that she hugged me tighter and hid behind me more. "Leah come on, I'm going to be late for work!" My father said that and his voice sounded like he was getting irritated. "I'm going To take her so you won't be late for work so call down before you hurt anyone... again" I said that and walked out the door with Leah, I then got in my uncles car and he took me to school early. When I got there I saw my best friend Jeremy, Jeremy has been my best friend ever since kindergarten. He has always been the quiet, and shy type, and I'm pretty popular and he is to because of me. "Hey Adrian, hey I wa-" Jeremy got caught off and he stared at something behind me, I look back and see the guy that just moved here walk passed us. "Who's that? He looks really handsome, and mysterious~" Jeremy said that with a dorky smile on his face and I new that smile it meant that he has a crush on a person. But Jeremy was gay anyways so I just let Jeremy crush on him anyways.
But why was I Sad about this?
