Clem's POV

So far, everything's been going good. Louis is a fucking animal behind the drums, I think we finally found our perfect drummer. After we graduated back in May all three of us moved to Seattle and signed a record lable with Sub Pop. We've only put out one song so far, it's a cover of "Love Buzz" by the band Shocking Blue. But we're working on our first studio album, we're gonna call it "Bleach".

3rd Person POV

The three just got back from an interview with John Robb for Sounds Magazine.

"Holy shit, that was epic" said Louis

"Louis, all we did was sit down and answer questions" replied Violet

"Hey fuck you, it was fun" defended Louis

"You know what's funner, finishing our album" Clem chimed in

Violet and Louis both agreed. The three headed to the apartment in witched they all lived, it was a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom so Lou had his own room while the girls shared a room, but they weren't bothered as they both had a thing for each other. Once they got home they wasted no time as Clem rolled a joint and the three passed it around.

"*cough* Guys *cough* can we *cough* get some *cough* hot wings *cough*" coughed Louis

"Dude, just eat whatever's in the fridge" replied Clem "and aslo, drink some water before you cough yourself to death, virgin lungs."

"Hey fuck you" said Louis, jokingly

After finishing the joint they began recording.

December, 1988
Clem's POV

We did it, we finally did it, Bleach is officially released. So far it's a hit on local college radio stations. I'm still kinda pissed because the lable didn't promote and distribute the album as much as I wished, but hey we sold 40,000 copies and we finally went on our first national tour but we had to cancel the last few days because Louis came down with some gnarly sickness, come to think about it, I've been having this excruciating pain in my abdomen, I hope it goes away soon.

3rd Person POV

The band just released they're first EP album, Blew. Although they've become well known locally they still have yet to go mainstream. But they have another interview with Sounds

"So how do you think your music has changed over time" asked John directed to Clementine

"The early songs were really angry... But as time goes on the songs are getting poppier and poppier as I get happier and happier. The songs are now about conflicts in relationships, emotional things with other human beings" replied Clem

After The Interview

"Y'know Clem, when we first started this I didn't think we'd get anywhere, but now I'm genuinely convinced that we're gonna be rockstars" said Violet

"We still got a long way to go Vi" replied Clem "A very long way"

3rd Person POV

The band was recording songs for their next album at Smart Studios in Wisconsin.

Bootlegs of the band's demos began to circulate in the music industry, drawing the attention of major record lables. It seemed like it was only a matter of days before they went mainstream.

Clem's POV

Not gonna lie, things are looking pretty good, we released Bleach and Blew last year and we have another album in the makes, the only two things keeping me from 100% happiness is that Violet isn't mine and theese fucking stomach pains

3rd Person POV

The band just released "Sliver" and are going to tour the west coast for seven days with Sonic Youth.

On The Tour Bus

Clem, Lou and Vi were all in a circle passing around a joint when Louis whips out his cards

"How about a game of war?" He suggested

"Count me in" said Clem

"Yeah, me too" responded Violet

All three of them drew a card from the deck. Louis was high and Violet was low

"So. Vi, when are you and Clem gonna hook up" said Louis earning a punch in the chest from both girls

"Next" said Violet

They drew three more cards, this time Vi got high and Clem got low

"What's somthing you've never told anyone" asked the blonde

"Well I've been having the pain in my stomach. I've had it since December, at first it wasn't so bad, but now it's starting to get unbarable. This helped for a while" said Clem signalling to the joint hanging from her lips "But now even that don't help, I'm gonna need somethin' stronger"

"Oh shit, mabye you should see a doctor" said Violet

"Yeah and get put on 30 different pills? Fuck that" replied Clem

After playing a few more rounds of war the group decided to call it a night

3:20 a.m

"Hey Clem, wake up" whisperd Violet as she shook the shorter girls shoulders

"W-what is it Vi" yawned Clem

"Get on the bus with me, the sky is fucking beautiful" said the blonde

The two girls climbed the bus and layed side by side on it's roof.

"Clem" said Violet

"Yeah Vi" replied Clementine

"I'm really glad we became friends, and I'm really glad we started the band, I know you've wanted this since our sophomore year, and I'm sorry I kept blowing you off untill you showed me that demo you made" Violet said

"You don't need to be sorry Violet, I'm just glad we finally did it" answerd Clem

"Y'know after highschool you could have just left, you could've went back to Gerogia to be with your family, but you stayed, and now I can't imagine what it would be like if you weren't here" said Violet

"I think. I mean I hope we're more than friends... And I want-" said Clem but she was cut off by Violets lips being pressed onto hers in a sloppy but passionate kiss

"That's what I want" said Clem as she smiled

The two sat there in each others arms for a good hour before heading to sleep as they had a long day tomorrow
