Jin wiped his tears from the shock he contained. His hanbok smoking and edges burned.

"Again" Lee Jun commanded.

Jin stood, took deep breaths and lifted his hands forward. Shaking from head to foot, he willed himself to imagine bricks, bricks laying on top of each other, creating a wall in front of him. Soon, orbs that are unsteady starts forming in front of his eyes. Jin could feel the orbs taking shape, taking essence, like he was forming them within his hands. he could feel from his mind how he stacked them together, wanting them to be impenetrable.

"The strongest wall ever built Jin, breathe and think, the most indestructible wall." He heard Lee Jun's voice somewhere. They were inside a dome, a dome below the Min's residences.

When the wall was tall enough to cover Jin, Lee Jun nodded to Yoongi.
"Begin"
"But he needs rest..."
"Yoongi, he needs control more than rest, now."

Yoongi unleashed the biggest ball of flames and launched them to a frightful Kim Seok Jin.
"Jin-hyung! Stand firm You can do this!" He shouted as flames flow outward him. Jin felt more energize. He got this. He can't let his father, his god father and his friend Yoongi down. He has to be strong. Jin then breathe in deep, he relaxed, and remembered Soobin. He imagined Soobin behind him.

I must protect Soobin

The flames approached Jin, and soon came contact with the net of orbs he built. "Impenetrable!" Jin shouted as he held out his arms full of strenght. He waited for the burning flames. He waited for smoke to engulf him. He thought of Soobin and safety. he closed his eyes.

The flames never came, however his eyes shot open when he heard big explosions in front of him. Smoke soon cleared and on the other side of the dome Lee Jun started slow clapping.

"Jin-hyung you did it!" Yoongi smiled
"Yes he did! Now, again!" Lee Jun exclaimed but this time with pride.

Jung Kook watched as Namjoon tried to explain on the board what he had learned about manipulating essence. They were still in that theory that something was coming for Jin. He kept releasing low sighs as he gets impatient about his time. He only came hoping Jin would be here.

Jimin left earlier after his outburst. Namjoon finally showed his Super strenght and Taehyung opted to speak about what he witnessed in Jin's place.

"Why were you with him last night?" Jung Kook asked Taehyung before Namjoon could start at the board.

"Because he is my Jin-hyung" Tae wanted Jung Kook to be annoyed and he got what he wanted.
"What is it with you and your obsession with hyung ha?" Taehyung quipped.

"I just feel overprotective of him what is wrong with that? "

"I saw you kissed him before he became conscious" Taehyung stated, Jung Kook's eyes widened.

"I like Jin-hyung, I like him a lot, I don't think its wrong for me to kiss someone I like." Jung Kook stepped away from Taehyung and ignored him the rest of the day.

To be honest, as what Jung Kook thinks, he couldn't tell why he is attracted to the young man. He knew about the Kim's. He knew about a Kim Soobin in his class, they sometimes speak since Soobin is few months younger. He had heard of Kim Seok Jin, who didn't?

Flashback

"He is my brother!" Soobin remarked proudly, everytime he heard people talk about Jin, "He is the greatest!"

Jung Kook was nervous on the first day of presentation. He succeeded his father as much to everyone's surprise. But Jung Kook believes he deserves each ounce of the ability and respect.
His brother Suho had always been favored at home, the first born. Their father is not a bad one, but he is not close to Jung Kook as is to Suho, usually it is his mother or nanny who would take notice of him at home.

Suho would give him attention but as soon as his father is with his elder, he is also ignored. It was unusual for a first born to not succeed his father, the descendants had mostly been the first born. First day of presentation came, Jung Kook had become a descendant. Apparently their father could see essence surround Jung Kook and none for Suho.

It was hard then for the head of Jeon to swallow his cold demeanor towards his second son. Suho felt a disgrace and had retreated to spent most times away from Jung Kook. Shame, they were starting to bond well.

He thought he made it, his father will notice him for sure, the clan already hailed him, but it made things aloof from his father and brother. What wrong had he done?

He loved his brother so much. He followed Suho's foot steps ever since he was young to get the same love from his father. He became good at everything, because Suho was great.

So what was it that attracted Jung Kook to Jin?

Soobin.

Everytime they would share a group, have some lunch together because of their club or just a plain day, Soobin would never stop talking about Jin. From everything he heard from campus of the happy, bright and intelligent boy, Jin is a perfect hyung.

Jung Kook could go on about Jin and what he knows from campus, but Soobin would only proove them all true and short listed. Jung Kook even admits of the jealousy he would have whenever Soobin tells him and the others about his Jin-hyung and their video games, hang outs and the way Jin teaches Soobin about life in general. Jung Kook was also jealous whenever he sees Jin stop by their club to pick Soobin up. The brothers were really close.

Flashback

The first time Jung Kook saw Jin by the door he had no idea that this was Kim Seok Jin. He even stop to see of it was his own hyung Suho, they look similar in some aspects.

"Uhm Suho? Oh no sorry, uhm do you need anything sunbae?"

Jin look up when Suho's name was called and smiled once he realised he was mistaken for someone else.

"I am waiting for Soobin. By any chance are you done with your activities?" Jin smiled and came closer to Jung Kook. Jung Kook could now see his face more, he is handsome and his gentle facial features seem to shine. Jin made him feel warm and seems really amicable.

"Hyungie!" Soobin then appeared and came straight to Jin.

Oh my lord, that was Kim Seok Jin?
Jung Kook kept thinking back to the man the whole time. He is perfect, was the thought that kept running in his head.

He then started to talk to Suho more. Maybe his brother was just aloof with him because he barely spoke at home himself. He was more of an observer, since he was constantly put on the side. He did saw improvements, Suho would acknowledge him in the mornings, would not complain when they share a car coming to school and even had Suho wait for him before heading home. He had something to brag about, something to share with Soobin about his own hyung.

But it all changed again when he was deemed his father's successor. The closeness, or what little of it, disappeared.

Jung Kook watched his Suho-hyung at home. Jung Kook listened to Soobin more. As the days of presentation drew near he had a goal.

I will be greater than Suho. I will show him I don't need him. I choose Jin as my hyung and become as great as him in every ways. Suho will regret not acknowledging me.
I will make Jin care for me, guide me and love me, and when the time comes...

I will be as perfect as Kim Seok Jin
