Hajime POV

So I entered fuyuhiko and his sister's house, and Natsumi was-I don't even know where. I started texting Komaeda.

God. Ugghh!! I think I might like him! I just feel so warm and safe when I'm around this hope boy! Yeah, I'm
definitely catching feelings for him. I hope he does, too, for me.

Anyways, that's besides the point.

What is Natsumi cooking?! It's smells so good!

Oh, it's Mac and cheese.

I hear a loud thump coming from upstairs. What the hell? I head upstairs to try to find where the sound is coming from. After another loud thump and some sniffles, I went into fuyuhiko's room.

I saw him on his bed, wrapped inside his blankets, eyes red and puffy, and he was looking on his phone. There was a glass bottle broken near the wall. (it was a bottle of soda not alcohol)

I didn't want to disturb him, but I was ready curious for some reason, so I just peered my head inside his room. He didn't seem to notice.

"I loved *sniffle* her so much! *sniffle* She was amazing! She *sniffle* took care and protected *sniffle* me. I don't *sniffle* deserve this *sniffle* love and *sniffle* compassion." He continued to talk like that about himself.

I cant take this.

I knocked on his door and came in.

He immediately wiped his tears and tried to act like he wasn't crying.

"H-hajime, what are y-you doing here?"

"I came to comfort you. It's ok to cry. We all do it, right? Sometimes we can't be all tough."

"I..."

He started crying again. He came up to me, hugged me–which I thought would never happen–then starting sobbing into me.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey it's ok! Let it out."

Wow, I've never seen him so emotional.

After about 30 minutes, we started talking.

He started talking about Peko and all the good things about her.

"She's just so amazing..." He said more but I couldn't te him what j needed to tell him.

"Fuyuhiko, there something important I have to tell you-"

He just ignored me, until I could finally get my words out.

"Fuyuhiko, listen to me! About Peko... I–this might sound strange to you, but I saw her."
