Damn! The security around Dimka and Rose's wedding wasn't just around the event itself. It wasn't just around the town it was being held in. It wasn't even just around, and throughout, Siberia. Or even all of Russia. Nope. That simply wasn't good enough. This wedding was being so damn well protected, I couldn't even leave the country.

There must have been eyes watching my every move. And this security detail was so clearly specifically orchestrated to keeping me away. I had travelled to many of the international airports around the country over the month leading up to the date. I'd done it in the hope of finding one that wasn't watched. It didn't work. They all had Moroi and dhampir details. And I was removed from sight the second I was spotted.

Damn it Rosemarie! You're stupid connections and selfishness. First you enchant my Dimka while being his student. Then you're the reason he played with me, accepted then rejected my offer, then you cheat on him and fall pregnant with some random Moroi's baby. As if that weren't enough, you convince my Dimka it's his impossible baby with you, and he's so blind to your bloodwhore nature- and obsessed with you- he runs off with you, then proposes. To top it off, you actually accept. Selfish bitch! He'll never be happy with you. Especially when he sees just who you really are.
