Lately I have taken up drawing as a hobby. One drawing I was really impressed with is my portrait of Indy-Grace. I entered that and a few other drawings to some competitions. A week later a plane ticket to Paris and a letter arrived in the mail. Reading through it I ran out the door and almost broke Ed’s window gesturing for him to come outside. To make the day better it started to snow.
Standing out in the snow I looked at my plane ticket to Paris. Wow! It has been my dream to go to Paris for about 15 years. I also got $10,000. That would pay for a new house and car. Anyway I fly out in two weeks. The only thing I will have to leave behind is Zailee I will have to leave her with Daim for two weeks. I am a little scared as I haven't left her for that long. What if I miss something important?
Katy and Ed are excited for me. They are really happy that after everything something good can happen. They also see the confidence it has given me. They are helping me pack as Indy-Grace stumbles into the room. She looks at me cautiously. “Why are you leaving”? She asks. “I am going to Paris soon. I won a drawing competition with that picture I drew of you.” She nods and smiles. "Good luck".
