The days pass by fast and Saturday is here. Once again I have another meet.

I'm really nervous even though I don't know why.

We stretch and do the usual routine.

I quickly text Hayes telling him that my race is about to start.

He reads it but doesn't answer back.

Weird.

We go to the starting line and get ready.

I feel all the adrenaline rushing through my body and I feel butterflies in my stomach.

The gun is shot and we all run forward.

I rush to the front with my teammates. As im running I remember that I didn't take my pills or my asthma pump. I left it in Hayes room thinking he would be here to give it to me before the race.

With a worried face I keep on running.
As we curve into the second mile, I feel my chest as if it was on fire. The pain is unbearable and I can barely breathe.

Briana sees me and try's to tell me to breathe. I try breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth but it doesn't help.

My stomach tightens as we start the third and last mile. My eyes start to close shut and I feel dizzy. I see colored spots everywhere. I can't breathe. My lungs have no air in them and I feel like if I was dying.

We curve into the track and I hear coach telling me to sprint it. But I can't feel my legs and I can't breathe. I sprint it and past a girl in a purple uniform.

As I cross the finish line i head for water. I can't breathe and I struggle to get oxygen into my lungs. As the coach passes me my place number I start to fade away. The last thing I see is the coach rushing to get me.

Then everything blacks out.
