Katelyn's POV:
*1 Week Later*
Well today is Thanksgiving and it's kind of weird without my dad. I've been a lot better recently I haven't cried as much. Today everyone is coming to my house for dinner. So everyone that will be here is my aunt and uncle, my grandparents, all 5 of my cousins, and Izi and her family. And then Matt's parents and his brothers and sister are going to come over. But Matt's family will only be here for desert because they decided it would be best if they still went to dinner at Matt's grandparents. But they allowed Matt to stay here with me the whole time. His parents are so sweet.
*A Few Hours Later*
All of my relatives started coming, and as each one walked in they each hugged Matt and I, because my mom was in the kitchen cooking. Matt and I and my cousins all went into the living room and sat down and watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade that's happening in NYC.
*After We Ate*
Matt's parents and siblings came and everyone was still gathered in the dining room. Matt, Izi, and I all decided to excuse ourselves and we all went up to my room to make ideas to have a sleep over sometime soon. I can't even explain how thankful I am for Matt and Izi and Mari and everyone else that was here for me during this tough time.
Sorry for these lame updates. Ideas haven't been as good. But I wanted something to upload for you guys. I also hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving. And also be grateful for what you have and don't take small things for granted. I love you guys so much.
