Katelyn's POV:
I woke up to hearing a noise. I didn't exactly recognize the noise until it got closer and I realized it was footsteps. "Matt please wake up, I'm scared." I said while shaking Matt trying to wake him up. "Babe, what's going on?" Matt said all sleepily. "Someone's here." I said. "But who, it's 2:30AM." Matt questioned. "I'm not sure...please come check with me." I said. "Alright babe." Matt said.
We got up, as we were walking down the hallway we rounded the corner and I crashed right into her. As I looked up, I was shocked to see who it was... "MOM" I screamed. "Hey sweety." She said. When I screamed it woke Mari and Carter up, so they came running to Matt and I. Everyone just stood there smiling while I kept hugging my mom.
After about 15 minutes. I finally stopped hugging my mom and I let her come in and unpack and set her stuff down. We all sat around and I introduced everyone to my mom. And my mom was very pleased with Matt. She said he's a very sweet boy and I'm lucky to have someone like him. And Matt was very happy to hear that.
Matt and I helped my mom finish unpacking while Mari and Carter went back to sleep. As we unpacked my mom and Matt got to know each other pretty good. Then Matt said that his whole family is moving here. And I didn't know that I was so happy. But then a question popped into my head. "Hey mom, where's dad?" I asked.
