"mark!!" sana yelled excitedly hugging her brother who was at the front door.

mark smiled brightly and tightly hugged her, "sana wah, it feels like i haven't seen you guys in forever."

sana giggled, "cause it's been a month since we've seen you!"

mark just chuckled and walked in the house greeting his mother who had a shocked look on her face.

"mark!! oh my goodness honey!" his mother ran round the counter and hugged him, leaving him breathless. "m-mom i can't breathe."

she let go laughing, "ahh, sorry honey, i'm just so happy to see you!" she looked him up and down.

"you look like you've lost weight.. but. i'm glad to see your body looks better."

mark smiled warmly and nodded, he looked around.

"what is it?" his mom asked looking where he was.

"where's donghyuck? i wanna see him, i told him he couldn't see me until i was all better." his mom chuckled and just walked back to the kitchen where she was making food.

"he's not here silly, but i can call him over if you want" sana said poking her head into the kitchen. mark nodded and sana ran upstairs to get her cell phone. mark sat on a chair in the dining room and went through his phone, he was constantly on instagram looking at updates on donghyuck's account.

every once and a blue moon donghyuck would send a picture of him and in thigh high stocking in dm's. some painful days in the hospital, mark immediately thought looking at the pictures again.

mrs. lee walked into the dining room placing a bowl down with some hot soup. "it's spicy seaweed soup, your favorite."

mark's eyes shined as he stared at the bowl, "dang! thanks mom, it's been so long since ive had this."

she smiled and walked away once again cleaning up. sana appeared and sat next to mark, "he'll be on his way in 10 minutes, and don't worry i didn't tell him you were here."

mark nodded and continued eating his soup, he hummed when he felt the spice kick in. the taste covered his tastebuds and he felt like he was on cloud nine.

a series of light knocks were heard at the front door, sana walked down the stairs and opened the door.

"donghyuck!!" she squealed.

donghyuck smiled and hugged her closing the door behind him.

"so what did you invite me over for? i was about to bake some things for mark."

sans smiled mischievously and took his hand walking up the stairs, "i have a surprise for you!".

she put his hands over his face and guided him to the front of mark's room. she knocked on his door and ran away back into her own room. donghyuck removed his hands when he heard a door open. once the door opened he gasped.

"m-mark?!"

mark was also surprised, "donghyuck!!"

the couple hugged eachother tightly, donghyuck felt his eyes water as he inhaled mark's scent. he missed the cologne smell, it smelled like cinnamon and vanilla.

"oh my gosh, mark, why didn't you tell me you were back?" donghyuck asked messing with his hair.

"i just got home 2 hours ago, i was gonna actually call you right now. but i can see someone else did if for us anyway." mark smiled looking over at sana's room. 

donghyuck just giggled and mark pulled him into his room shutting the door. mark kissed donghyuck some more, giving his neck a lot of attention. his boyfriend softly whined and held tightly onto him.

mark pulled away and picked him up placing him gently into his bed.

"you sending me those pictures of you while i was in the hospital was.. so mean of you." mark grinned.

donghyuck just softly laughed, "what... you wouldn't let me see you so.."

mark chuckled and stood up standing up donghyuck as well, "well what do you wanna do? i've been waiting a whole month almost to see you."

donghyuck thought for a moment, "oh! let's go to my house. i have a surprise for you," the small boy said dragging his finger across mark's chest.

mark raised his brow and donghyuck took his hand, the couple walked downstairs saying goodbye to mark's mom and sana.

they left jumping into donghyuck's car, "so can i have a hint of the surprise?" mark asked teasingly.

donghyuck looked over when they met a stoplight.

"nope!! all my hints would give it away." mark laughed and just relaxed going on his phone.

once making it to donghyuck's house after all the traffic mark stepped out. his small boyfriend walked over taking his hand.

mark interwove their hands, watching as donghyuck's cheeks went from their natural melanin tan to bright red. he grinned looking back down at the floor.

donghyuck fiddled with his keys and opened the front door greeting his mother.

"aah honey you're home, and mark! wow we haven't seen you in a while..," donghyuck's mom swooned hugging mark.

mark chuckled and hugged back, then saw donghyuck's dad. he shook his hand bringing him into a strong hug, mark surprised hugged back and donghyuck giggled.

"ok! we're gonna be upstairs," donghyuck smiled taking marks hand and dragging him up the stairs. his parents just shook their hand smiling and walked away back to the kitchen.

donghyuck shut the door behind him and looked at mark who sat on his bed. the smaller boy teasingly smiled walking to his bathroom and shutting the door. mark patiently waited looking around his room, he heard shuffling from the bathroom and began getting a bit antsy.

finally, donghyuck opened the door and poked his head through then walked out.

"look!! the dogs had puppies!" he said as he held a small puppy corgi. mark's eyes widened and he walked over and opened the door to see at least 4 more. he smiled and knelt down picking one up and petting it.

"sorry if the surprise isn't that great... but i want you to have one or you can give one to sana! im keeping the rest of them, but i want you to take 2."

mark stood up, "aw babe i don't want to take them from you-" donghyuck stopped him, "it's fine, i want sana to at least have one if you don't."

the couple kissed, donghyuck placed the puppy down and wrapped his arms around mark's neck. mark picked him up and shut the bathroom door walking over to their bed. he placed him down and took off his own sweater, along with donghyuck's shirt.

"i guess you deserve this," the small boy giggled making mark chuckled and attack his neck.

let's just say that night, donghyuck's parents had to sleep downstairs to avoid the noise.
