Kiyoko's POV
Sadly practice was cancelled because of the horrible weather. I saw Yachi in the hallway earlier today, she ran up to me. Very happy and proud, she's such an inspiring person. Very cute and adorable as well. I've started to realize that her and Hinata seemed to be getting along very well. I also saw her and Nishinoya getting closer. After school I went outside in the rain and saw Yachi playing in the rain with Hinata and Nishinoya. I giggled, rolling my eyes. So silly and irresponsible..yet Yachi seems different? Almost too happy. Maybe it's just that I'm not happy all the time. Not sure. Her and Hinata would be a power couple. I went up to them. "Hey guys..you all are gonna get yourselves sick. Why don't we all go back to my place..?" Nishinoya and Yachi got excited. "Can we really?!" Yachi asked me very excited. I nodded when Hinata smiled. "Sorry guys, I have to pass. My mom wants me home to babysit my sister while she's gone. Maybe next time!!" Yachi chimed in. "That sucksss! We'll see you later Hinata!~" Hinata waves and got on his bike, riding away. Suddenly the rain stopped falling on Nishinoya and Yachi, they looked up. I had an umbrella over the two of them, ignoring the fact that I was getting soaked. I didn't want them sick after all. I noticed Yachi's cheeks turning pink. "T-Thank you Miss Kiyoko!~" Her happy voice echoed. "You don't have to call me 'Miss Kiyoko' you can always call me 'Kiyoko' but whatever you like is fine." Nishinoya started jumping up and down really excitedly. "Come on Kiyoko! I wanna see your house!!~" I rolled my eyes but couldn't help a small smile approaching my face. "Okay..Come on"
I held the umbrella over the two of them when we walked, shielding them from getting more yet than they already were. Soon we got to my place, well my mom was at work so we get the house to ourselves. I let them go in first after I unlocked the door. "Please take your shoes off before the carpet." They did as I asked and I took mine off. Setting the umbrella down and taking off my jacket. I took them to my room. "Sit here. I'll go make you two some tea and warm soup. I don't want you two cold. You two can pick out a hoodie from in my closet and put it on if you'd like. I'll be right back.." She left the room, leaving Nishinoya and Yachi alone.
Yachi's POV
I picked a nice dark green hoodie from Kiyoko's closet. Not just because I was cold but because I wanted to see if it smelt like her perfume! Weird, I know but she always smelt so nice. She's always so pretty and everything. Always calm..I want to be like her. My thoughts soon got interrupted by Nishinoya.. "Sooooo..Do you have a crush on Hinata?! You two are getting really close and seem like a perfect couple" I turned to him in disbelief. "Hinata?! No way! We are just friends." Nishinoya shook his head. "He told Kenma that he was gonna ask you on a date tomorrow. Like as more than friends.." I huffed. "No way! You've got it alllll wrong. He probably meant as friends! Nothing more." Nishinoya rolled his eyes. "You like him don't you?!" He giggled, teasing me. "I do not Noya! You probably like- Uhm- uhhhh...M-Miss Kiyoko!" He chuckled. "Of course I do! She's so perfect..~" I frowned..I knew this would happen. She is most likely straight. How sad... "Cheer up Yachi-Chan!" He giggled. "I'll set you and Hinata up on a date" I blushed. "I don't wanna go on a date with Hinata! I'm gay Noya!" His eyes widened. "You're gay?!" I nodded..regretting what I said. "oooooohhh~ Who's the lucky girl..~" He teased. "I'm still single! Don't tell anyone I'm gay..I've only told you." He gasped. "Is that why you were frowning when I said I liked Ki-" I interrupted him by covering his mouth. "shusshshhhh!" I slowly uncovered his mouth. "So you have a thing for her? Wow! This sounds like a job for me!! I'll get you two together!" Noya ran out of the room. Soon I heard a door open and then close. Afterwards, Kiyoko came into the room, Handing me soup and Tea. "Noya had to leave." I blushed intensely, I could kill him for leaving us like this!!Kiyoko's POV
It was weird of Nishinoya to run out like that. He told me that his mom needed him at home. I hope he's okay and everything is fine. I came back in the room, handing Yachi tea and soup. I hope she likes it. "Noya had to leave." Her cheeks turned really red. Not sure why. I sat down next to her, deciding to ask her. "So are you and Hinata a couple..?" She turned to me, shocked. "No! We are JUST friends! There's nothing between us! Why does everyone think that?" I chuckled. "You two are together a lot and Hinata and you look like a perfect couple. It's pretty simple. Noya preference is males so everyone knows you two are just friends." She blushed. "Hinata and I are just friends." She turned away. I got up checking the weather outside by looking out my window, I turned back to Yachi. "There is no way I'm letting you go home in this weather condition." She turned to me, smiling. "It's fine! I'll just walk home, it's not that far." I shook my head. "Nope. I am not letting you. I'll walk home with you." She blushed again. "Miss.. You really don't have to do that! I'll just walk home by myself so you're at no risk of getting sick-" I interrupted her. "Nonsense Yachi..I'm going with you." She nodded softly. "When you are done with your soup, I will walk you home. Okay?"She soon got done with her soup and tea. I took her by the hand, letting her wear my hoodie home. I got the umbrella and walked her outside, holding it over the both of us. Yachi walked very close to me, making sure she was touching my arm. She was probably cold. We soon got to her place and I let her go inside. "Bye Yachi-Chan..." She smiled. "Bye Kiyoko Senpai!" She waved, leaving me alone I'm the rain. I walked back to my place, thinking about her the whole way back.
