Poor Kiyoko

Kiyoko's POV
Today Hinata came up to me during volleyball practice. "Kiyoko...Where is Yachi, I need to ask her something!" I nodded, waving Yachi over and leaving them to talk. I watched them, I soon saw Yachi's cheeks turn a bright red. So he really did ask her out..I'm happy for her but I feel as if I envy him. A-Am I jealous that he asked her out? Shit, I really am pathetic. I don't like her like that. There's no way I do, She's straight! I need to take in some air. I walked outside and Yachi followed me. "Miss Kiyoko, Hinata wants to go on a date with-" I interrupted her. "That's great Yachi..I'm happy for you." She turned to me with confusion. "Why are you happy for me? That does not make sense!" I turned to her, losing my cool a bit. I'm not sure why.. "Yachi. I know what you meant but I don't like hearing about dating." Especially with someone I-I-I like..Fine i'll admit and be honest with myself. I do like her..She is always so happy and it makes her so adorable. She frowned at me. "Are you angry that he's gay or that he wants to ask Kageyama ou-" I interrupted her again. "Wait! You're saying Hinata didn't ask you out?" She nodded slowly, she was still wearing my hoodie from last night. I hugged her. "I am sorry, I'm just not in a very good mood Yachi." She hugged me back, accepting my apology. I felt horrible so I leaned down and kissed her forehead very very softly. She looked up at me, Blushing softly. I knew that I started blushing. I looked away smiling. "Thank you.." I heard Yachi say under her breath. "Anytime.."

Our moment soon got interrupted by Tsukkishima. "Oi, Kiyoko, Shoyo got hurt." Yachi's eyes widened as we walked into the gym and on the court where Hinata laid on the ground, holding his nose. Of course everyone but Tsukkishima and Kageyama crowded around the small male. Hinata's nose was bleeding severely, seeming like he actually hurt his nose..Possibly broken. "Did you get hit with a ball again?" I asked him and he nodded, his eyes watering. Everyone except Kageyama continued playing. Kageyama watched me help Hinata. Kageyama came over. "Hinata, Boke! You fucking idiot! Volleyball is a sport where you hit the ball back and forth over the net! Not catch it with your goddamn face! It-" I interrupted him. "He knows Tobio. Give him a break, thank you." Kageyama got quiet real quick. That seemed to shut him up. Hinata had to sit out for a while, Soon practice ended and everyone left.

Kageyama and Hinata wanted to stay late for practice so I stayed back with Yachi to watch the boys. There seemed to be tension between the two of them. Soon they started arguing because of something dull and unimportant. "You always act before you do Hinata! You're not gonna get anywhere and you are no longer considered my partner." Kageyama yelled at Hinata and Kageyama then picked him up by his collar. He dropped him, Hinata coming back up and lunging at him. I yelled, "Stop it you two!". I went to get in between the two of them and got myself knocked down, hitting my head on the floor. I got dizzy laying on the ground and everything around me started spinning. I started blacking out when the last thing I saw was Yachi, Hinata, and Kageyama crowding around me. Yachi kneeling next to me and Hinata apologizing. Kageyma just stood there in disbelief. Then everything soon went...black...

Yachi's POV
Oh my god!! They knocked Miss Kiyoko out!! I kneeled down next to her, rubbing her forehead slightly. "Hinata! Call Coach Ukai! Kageyama see if anyone else is still outside! Please!! Go!" The boys did as I told them to, Kageyama came back in, "Nobody is out there". I nodded, listening to Hinata talk to Ukai. Hinata hung up. "He said he will be here soon." I nodded, my hands cupping her cheeks. She was so beautiful even though she was literally laying on the gym floor. Was she going to die?! "Hinata! Is she going to die?" Instead of getting a response from Hinata, I got one from Kageyama. "She's not gonna die.. Is her head bleeding?" I felt the back of her head, it was dry for a second but then I moved my hand upwards and felt her damp hair. I nodded, frowning. "Not much though." He replied, "It should just be the bleeding that is damaging as well as how hard she contacted the ground. She shouldn't have been concussed since she didn't hit the ground hard. She actually hit it fairly lightly but hard enough to make her bleed.". "Kageyama it's not the contact of the floor that is making her bleed..She has hair barrettes in her hair and they seemed to scratch her head when she fell. Causing the trauma and bleeding." Hinata seemed surprised with my logic and grammar. "So it shouldn't be severe so I wouldn't worry too much." I looked over at him and smiled brightly. "Thank you Kageyama~Kun!" Soon Coach Ukai entered the gym.

"I've got her, you all head home. It's late, okay? The coach announced. "No! I wanna stay with her. I'll be fine, can I just be with you both?" I asked. "No Yachi you'll be tired-" "I wanna go and you can't stop me!" I yelled. We argued after Hinata and Kageyama left. I argued with him until he let me go with Kiyoko and him. He finally agreed, after all that arguing i'm pretty tired but im not letting Kiyoko go alone. I trust Coach Ukai with her but I know if that was me, Kiyoko would want to stay with me. Coach Ukai drove us to a 24 hour drive in hospital. The doctors concluded that she will be fine by Thursday. Two days I want to spend in the hospital with Kiyoko. I'm so happy Sir Ukai is letting me stay with her! He decided that he needed to stay with the boys for practice since he really didn't know how everyone acted alone. I sat there alone in the hospital room after Coach left. I grabbed her hand, holding it between both of my hands. Her hands heated up quickly. Tomorrow is another day. I hope- Kiyoko moved her hand a bit while it was in my palm. I-Is she waking up?! Her eyelids slowly opened before shutting again. "Kiyoko!" She turned her head, she started holding the hand that I held on the bottom of hers. I knew her head had to hurt badly. I feel so bad.. "Y-Yachi..?" She opened her eyes, then sparkling once she saw me. "Yes it's me, you shouldn't raise your head. You need rest. Your head took damage, you can leave thursday." She nodded. "Okay.." She closed her eyes and the grasp on my hand gently stopped. I got up and kissed her forehead. I sat back down, crossing my legs and I took off my hoodie leaving me in a white T-Shirt. Then I set the hoodie over me, using Kiyoko's hoodie that she let me wear as a blanket for myself. I snuggled into it and slowly fell asleep. It was nice knowing that I was keeping Kiyoko safe and protecting her. It's also nice knowing she's next to me right now. Though it's not the way I wanted it to be I want it to be us, laying in bed. Us as a couple and are sleeping next to each other. That's normal...Right? Thinking about her in that way is okay..Right? I hope so..I started dozing off and let my mind rest. Goodnight Kiyoko..See you tomorrow..
