"Hey Jeff can I admit something?" I asked. "Yea" he said. " I honestly used to have feelings for you. As in I was in love with you." I said.

~present~
Jeff stared at me, as if I were crazy. "You...you loved me?" He asked. "Yeah..." I said. "As in you don't love me anymore?" He asked. He looked...hurt? "No. I mean yes! I mean...I don't know. I loved you then but I don't know if I still do." I said. That wasn't a complete lie. I did used to love him but I know I still do. I just can't have him know. "Oh" was all he said. I don't blame him. I wouldn't know what to say in this situation, especially in his position. I know how he is now but, i can't help but still love the old Jeff. I have taken notice as to how he treated me when I didn't know it was him and I don't think I'm in love with this Jeff. We stay silent for a long while till I ask, "why are you like this?" He stared at me. "Like what? A killer? I don't know I just have a good feeling when I kill" he said. I stared at him, with disbelief in my eyes. "You monster! Your not the Jeff I knew before. What happened to him?" I say. He stares at me not surprised. "I knew sooner or later you would say that. And that Jeff, the weak one, is long gone, and not coming back." He said with a serious expression. "1. How did you know I was going to say that? And 2. Why did that Jeff leave in the first place?" I asked. He chuckled. I looked at him wondering what he is laughing about at a moment like this. "I knew you for years and you ask that? And that Jeff decided he wanted to change and become a better person. I'm helping the people I kill not having to go through the hell called life." He said. I just looked down. I don't know what to say. What can I say? I am here, with a tied up monster.
