soohyun's pov

i leave the café feeling a lot more confident about my decision. at least now i have his phone number and a plan for my future.

he agreed to take things slow for me. allowing me to move at my pace since i was new to all of this, and i could move in whenever i felt ready. i kept thinking about what i was truly doing, and how insane it all seems at a first glance, but after hearing him speak and seeing the way he carries himself, i've ought to count myself lucky for the opportunity.

today marks the fifth week i've been talking with him. it's 8pm and i'm on my way to his house for the first time, to watch a movie, of course.

however you can imagine my surprise when i knock on the door, it's not jimin who opens it.

my smile turns into a confused expression, did i get the wrong floor? the man in front of me, equally as breathtakingly handsome as jimin. do these men just spawn here?

he looks at me equally confused, then relaxes, "are you here for jimin? you're soohyun?"

"u-uhm yeah. do i have the right house?"

"yeah, he's just getting out of the shower. he told me to apologize to you, he lost track of time." the man explains, stepping aside and letting me in.

the house is gorgeous.

the man chuckles at my admiration, "first time here? i've lived here for about 5 months now and i still find it breathtaking."

i glance at him with big eyes and a smile, "you live here too?"

he nods, "yeah, i'm a friend of jimin's from school, i didn't know how long i'd be in seoul so he offered me a room. i havent cared to leave."

i nod, staring at the view, "i can't blame you."

we stand in silence for a moment before making accidental eye contact. we both give an awkward chuckle, before he turns to me and lets his hand out, "jungkook."

i smile, placing my small hand in his, "soohyun."
