"Okay we are going to be training in teams today. Pick who you want to be with wisely and no Alex you can not be with Gyles, he's with me."

I saw Alex raise his hand as soon as I said they could pick. What does he think this is,high school? Trying to get paired up with his crush, seriously what has this agency come to?

"How did you know I was going to ask to be with him?" He said with a pouty look on his face.

"Let's just say I'm good at reading people." I mean I was, especially the gay ones. "Training starts in 30 minutes, I want everyone there on time."

We all finished our breakfast and got ready for training. None of them saw downstairs yet. I told them yesterday they could see it when we started training.

Me and Gyles didn't talk much this morning. Was he okay? I swear if Alex tried to hit on him again.

"Shit." Gyles said quietly to himself.

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot to pack my deodorant, could I borrow some of yours? I promise I'll buy you a new one."

"Don't worry about it, here." I handed him my deodorant and he smiled. I missed his smile so much. When we were little he would smile so much. What happened since the last time I saw him that made it go away?

"Alright everyone who is ready to get their ass kicked?" Alex screamed, barging into our room.

"What the fuck Alex, can you please knock first?" I almost had taken off my shirt but luckily I didn't yet. I wasn't embarrassed of all my scars but it was not something I wanted to play show and tell with.

"Oh sorry, I didn't realize you two were getting it on." He said and winked.

"That's not what we were doing." I said rolling my eyes and then looking over at Gyles. His face was beat red. Was he embarrassed? That made me grin to myself a little. At least until I realized who was still in the room.

"Out now."

"You guys are no fun."

When Alex walked out I took my shirt off.  Gyles saw my scars when we were little so he wasn't really phased by it.

Or so I thought. I didn't think it was more possible for his face to get any redder but it did. Did he want me to cover up?

Great now I feel embarrassed of them. He probably didn't even remember I had them.  Good job dumbass.

I hurried and put my training shirt on and led everyone to the lower level.

"Over there is the armory but we don't need anything out of there, today is just some light training. We will gradually get into the harder stuff as we go along. Through that door is the mission room. We will meet there every morning, save Friday, that's your rest day, got it?"

They all nodded their heads in approval.

"Alright let's go to the mission room and discuss it, I'm sure the agency didn't tell you guys much."

"This is gonna be so much fun." Juno said, clapping.

"I know right? I haven't been on a mission in so long." Alex said joining her.

No wonder the agency gave us so long to train. These guys probably haven't been on a mission in months.

We went into the meeting room and got settled. I took the laptop and put the mission flashdrive in. The projection screen immediately lit up.

"Okay our mission, as you all should know, is to take down the Acias and their leader Darwin River."

"Huh that's kinda funny, he has the same last name as you Logan." Alex said cutting in.
