Hanako's POV

My sweet Yashiro.

I didn't want to let this moment slip off with a cliffhanger for who knows when I'd have to wait. When she's dead?! I don't think so.

I whisper "Yashiro... Daisuki." and planted a kiss on her sweet lips.

"You probably won't remember... but at least I had to do what I should've done."

Kou's POV

I left senpai with Hanako and walked off with Mitsuba. The dark, empty hallway, though it was pitch black, the light from the moon is beautiful. It almost looks fake.

"K-Kou..." Mitsuba stammers.
"How do you really feel about Radish-senpai?"

"Well..." I brushed my hair aside, blushing.

"I like her, of course. She's kind and sweet and well, cute."

Mitsuba stares at me. He leans in forward, half pinning me against the wall. "Hmm, I'm way cuter!"

Wow, what an arrogant little-

Minutes went by quick, it's already 9pm. Mitsuba is quiet, I guess he's thinking about something.

I should go back to senpai.

"Hey, Mitsuba."

"Yeah?"

".... I need to go check up on senpai. Goodnight."

Why... why do I feel like I still had more to say than just 'Goodnight'?

He nods then disappears. As I make my way back...

How dare he?! Kissing senpai out of the blue?!

I keep quiet. Fists clenched. A stream of tears flowed down my face.

Yashiro's POV

I wake up to the sun shining on my face. I glance around. I'm still in school?

I'm still laying on the solid, concrete floor, but my head rests on someone's arm.
Hanako...kun?

He's asleep. I guess he stayed with me the entire night, huh. It's a Saturday.

I blink a few times then...

"Ōhayo, Yashiro."

I look up to see Hanako-kun, with a big smile plastered on his face. He looks so... hm, what's the right word...

He looks so human-like. As if he was never a ghost. I kind of like him that way.

"Yashiro... I've been wanting to tell you, that uhm-"

Blushing...?

"Hanako-kun... if you're going to end up saying something misleading like before, it's better to just keep quiet, wouldn't it?"

I let out a fake smile, my eyes were starting to tear up. I knew where this was gonna go.
Him, saying something that's pretty misleading then ends up leaving me like... it's nothing.

"N-No. I wouldn't do that, not anymore."

"I'm sorry, Hanako-kun. But I can't have someone that'll keep lying for their own gain."
