Sunflower

New Flower

           ( I just realized how much this is like MHA. We don't talk about that)

     Today is the day the grand flippin day, my first day at my new school standing in front of my mirror I kept touching up my hair even though it was completely fine and flattening my uniform so no wrinkles would show, looking at my soulmate mark on my chin it was in the shape as if someone was holding my chin up with their thumb and pointer finger, taking a deep breath opening my door and ran downstairs as soon as my mom was about to yell for me to hurry up I land in front of her with white poppies falling to the floor from my green curly hair. "Ok sunflower, lets go or you'll be late" I nodded as we walked out of the house and into the car, so that she could drop me off at school on her way to work.

TIME SKIP

   "Alright, here's your stop have a great day you'll be fine I know you will" she says as she rubbed my back in reassurance I give hear a smile that could light up a room and slap my cheeks, the poppies in my hair turning into sunflowers "alright I got this,I love you" I say as I give her a hug and a kiss before hopping out of the car just to realize how many people were here already, and I couldn't turn back now since I already heard the car drive off signaling she left.

   Taking another deep breathe I walk into the school changing my shoes too my indoor shoes and stopping by the office like they told me too the weekend before school started, came for a tour of the school, arriving at the office I greet the lady at the front desk giving her my full name she hands me my schedule and i'm off to officially start my first day of school, the teacher how ever asked me to wait outside so he could introduce me to the class I did as told and waited. People walked by into class none of them really noticing me as I subconsciously messed with my chin. They were all talking to friends or plainly just in a rush to get in the class, after waiting a bit from when the bell went off I heard the teacher tell me to come in.

    Entering that classroom kicked my anxiety into high gear making my regular sunflowers turn to butterfly weed, stopping by the teachers desk and position myself to face the class I scan it slowly to see the many different people most looking tired along with one person asleep towards the back of the room near the windows "please introduce yourself, along with a small showcase of your element" the teacher asked me which also brought me out of my zoned out state "oh u-um my names Poppy Morris,and my element is earth" I said as I thought of what I could do to show my element, finally deciding on my favorite way.

     Focusing I slowly made vines start to grow down my arms and my hair started flowering sunflowers along with roses thrown into the mix making a flower crown on my head, letting roses blossom on the vines as they spelled out 'hello' in front of me little apple trees grew on my shoulders as well .It was quiet before claps went around the room with some people being very surprised. I looked down as the flowers went away along with the vines, only the trees left only after I plucked an apple and sat it on the teacher's desk did they disappear to be replaced by purple columbine flowers in my hair.

    "Very nice performance Miss.Morris, please take a seat in the back by the window" I nodded my head and walked to the back as the teacher began to tell the class to settle down and started to tell us what we were going to be learning about today, when I got to my seat though the same person, who I saw asleep earlier, was still dead asleep even through the commotion that I brought with my 'performance' they were knocked out, taking my seat deciding not to worry or bother them if I didn't have to..

     Listening to what the teacher was saying, he said " you all have most likely heard about the awakening of your elements but I am required to at least mention it in the time you're here so..." I zoned out after that I love to learn but this one subject I know we've all heard before it's something I don't like learning, since we've learned it so many times. Something zipped outside catching my eye but, it was just birds flying away from something that must have spooked them. It had my full attention though since I wasn't exactly paying attention to anything specific and I was now just staring outside for no reason.
