I was currently at my dad’s house, Number 12 Grimmauld Place, sitting in my room, planning pranks with Fred and George. That is, until Hermione bursts into the room. She looked as if she’d just seen a ghost. Wait, we see ghosts all the time. She looked like she had seen. . . a Bogot! Yeah that’s it!
“What’s got your knickers all in a bunch?” the twins asked.
“It’s Harry!” She exclaimed. “The Ministry’s to expel him for casting the Potronus charm!” by now I was on my feet along with the boys. “Dumbledore has asked for a trial. The Order is about to go and get him-“ Before she could finish I bolted for the door, wand, cloak, and broom in hand. ‘There is only one reason Harry would cast that charm’ I thought to myself as I stormed down the stairs. ‘I’m not about to let them do this to my god brother’ I ran into the kitchen at the same time The Order did. I glanced at my father. “Dad! Please can I go with them?!” I knew my dad would let me go no matter what, but I hated leaving without asking him first. Don’t want him to freak out that I’m not here right?
I saw the way Mrs. Weasley eye dad as if sending him silent signals saying ‘Don’t you dare’ but Dad being Dad said “Sure Whiskers! Just stay close to the group”
Before Mrs. Weasley could protest, I was out the door with Tonks by my side, grinning ear to ear.
The ‘rescue party’ as I called it, contained Uncle Remus(On her mother's side), Mad-Eye Moody, Tonks, Mr. Weasley, Kingsley, me, and several other witches and wizards that I hardly knew because I rarely saw them around the house. My flying spot was right next to Tonks and Uncle Remus. As I went to mount my Sunstreamer (My broom), I saw Hedwig fly into the upstairs window.
Harry had been sending letters all summer asking about Voldemort. Under Dumbledore’s orders, we couldn’t tell him anything. There wasn’t too much to tell really. Ever since. . . . that night, Voldemort was stayed low. It made me wonder what he was planning. No. scratch that, it made me FEAR what he was planning.
I mounted my broom at the same time as everyone else did; before I knew it we were off the ground and headed toward Harry’s. The flight there was long and cold. I was glad I wore my cloak, but I mentally kicked myself when I forgot my gloves. I almost cried with joy when I saw Privet Drive knowing I would soon be warm.
We all landed on Number 4’s lawn. We all walked swiftly to the door. I was the first one there so I was the one to open the door. “Alohomora” I said silently as I tapped the doorknob. There was a light click and the door opened slowly. I walked in hesitantly, and the rest fallowed. The only one who didn’t seem hesitant at all was Mr. Weasley. In fact, the second he walked into the house he ran straight to the kitchen. The group began to whisper as we heard a crash come from where Mr. Weasley had ran off to. I gave a small sigh before I relised we had an audience. Yup. There Harry was, at the top of the staircase, wand raised.
“Lower your wand, boy, before you take someone’s eye out” Mad-Eye growled. I couldn’t help but give a small giggle.
Harry’s eyes flashed from Mad-Eye to me in uncertainty for it was dark and I had a hard time seeing him myself. “Professor Moody? Lena?”
“I don’t know so much about ‘Professor’ “ Mad-Eye growled, “never got round much teaching, did I? Get down here, we want to see you properly.”
I saw Harry lower his wand slightly. “You really need to work on your people skills” I muttered to Mad-Eye, who glared at me in response. Harry still did not move from his spot atop the staircase.
“It’s all right Harry. We’ve come to take you away” came my Uncle’s horse voice from my other side.
“P-Professor Lupin?” Harry asked disbelievingly “Is that you?”
