Chapter 11: Hospital Visits and Revenge

Nightshade's eyes opened his head pounding to beat the heart rate monitor which was freaking out because he had two hearts.

"Fusion!!" What all he could scream quickly sitting up feeling the room spin his depth perception felt different. He went to use his arm and realized his robotic arm and eye had been removed. "Where am I?" Nightshade mumbled as the door to his room opened and a familiar face walked in.

"Well good to know your dumb ass is alive" the blond pony smirked she looked a little older than he remembered. "You are so Lucky that Luck has my number still" she smirked socking nightshade in the shoulder.

Nightshade tilted his head. "Strike? Wow, you got... Older?" Nightshade chuckled he knew Strike had a hot temper but she seemed more relaxed as of right now. When a question popped in his head. "Wait where is Fu-"

Strike Covered Nightshades mouth. "One ill let the old comment slide. This time" she glared at Nightshade before relaxing again. "Fusion is stable. The shot missed anything vital by mere centimeters and more to the left. And he wouldn't have survived"

Nightshade couldn't feel it but he had wisps of dark magic emitting from him his anger on a slow burn but he could feel it growing. "Why would they do this?" Nightshade growled. Strike tilted her head. "Do you know who did this Nights? I need to know who shot my rookie" Nightshade could hear the venom oozing of strike words he knew Bri and O'Malley are in trouble with her if he said anything. "Some assassins. Not sure who but who were they after" Nightshade giving a small look to the ground showing he knew and was obviously lying.

Strike nodded getting the message that he knew but he won't say. "I get it your still so secretive." Strike turned to leave stopping at the door. "Oh and Nightshade. I figured your thinking I'm still mad about the twins like luna. but I forgive you."

Nightshade stared at the door as Strike left. He could feel anger and tears this wasn't like him to be emotional but now seeing the sights and old faces for so long made nightshade remember all the bad things he had been trying to forget.

"Dammit, Ace Alice pick up the speed we need to get out of here!!" Nightshade yelled as he saw the army of Changeling running at them.

Alice and Ace stopped looking at nightshade then back at the army.

"Come on what are you two doing?!"
Nightshade screamed at the two. Nightshade Ace say something to Alive as she came running into Pandora.

"Nightshade!" Ace yelled. "Tell Aunt Luna and Tia I said goodbye" Ace turned as his eyes began to glow white and blinded the army shoving them back with magic. As the light faded Nightshade ran to the only body he saw.

"Ace buddy stay with me!" Watching as blood dripped from aces eyes nose and ears like a faucet. "Medic!!" Nightshade yelled hearing robotic medics from the ship come running and taking Ace to medbay. Nightshade took one look back at the field of ash and broken carapace.

Nightshade cried as he ignored the black crystals forming on the walls around him remembering fragments of the day he was banished.

"I'm sorry Master. He's gone" Computer said with a heavy metal heart and allowed him to see the body.

Nightshade stood there as Alice wept over her brother his anger built as his mind raced with thoughts. He growled as eyes teared from his face as he marched to the armory. "I'll make them pay." After Arming himself with his Sword and guns he piloted his ship to the edge of the changeling kingdom before exiting. "Pandora take Alice home, please. I can't let the others see what I'm about to do. " Nightshade felt magic of all kinds offing from him. "Yes, sir" was all he heard before walking into the desert for his revenge.

Blood was permeating in the air broken carapace and smashed eggs laid all around him the Queen of this hive broken and battered but still living. "Please" she begged but nightshade didn't care he looked over at the guards and king who had been slaughter like cows he looked out to the city it burning as he saw changing bodies scattered and ripped apart in the streets blood of thousands of changelings covered his body. He sill heard the cries of the children and spawnlings. Nightshade could only laugh at the sight his broken heart feeling no pitty as he looked back at the queen pulling her limba tight with crystals. "You should have thought of that before killing my friends" his voice twisted by dark magic as he listed to the screams of the Queen as her carapace buckled and snaped slowly pulling her apart untill the screaming stopped. Nightshade smiled and walked slowly out of the Kingdom leaving the king and queen changeling heads on pikes to send a message to any he missed his deep warp laughter echoing as he walked though the desert toward equestria.
