Dear Kobe,
You were always an inspiration to many but you were a huge inspiration to me. I remember being in first grade playing trashketball and everyone in the room screaming "Kobe" when they shot. I didn't always know who you were. If I'm being honest you only became a huge inspiration to me in 2019, but this isn't about me. This is about all the people you affected when you were with us. You made everyone happy. You brought joy to everyone who met you, and most of all you were fearless. When Matt Barnes threw the fake pass to your head you didn't flinch. You ARE and will ALWAYS be the definition of who I want to be when I'm older. You never, ever let the fame get to your head and you were always there to be with your daughters and family. You might've been a big inspiration to me, but the person you inspired the most...was GiGi. Let me get started by saying that GiGi's death hurts me the most. And Kobe's death hurt me so much as well but GiGi's was just different. As Vanessa Bryant said this week at Kobe's memorial, she never got to live out her life. Gianna would've made it into the WNBA and she would've been the best. My dream is to get into the WNBA and perhaps if I did I would've gotten the opportunity to meet GiGi, but that's not even a possibility anymore. Although I've never met her she seems like the sweetest girl ever and I can't even imagine what was going through her head while the helicopter was crashing. This was so unexpected, and I'm still not over it. I remember going to sleep one night watching the Golden State Warriors vs the Phoenix Suns and when I woke up, the first thing I saw on my TV...was Kobe. I take it as a sign. I do believe fully and 100% that Kobe made it to heaven where he belongs. I'm glad him and Gianna are in a place now that will treat them as well as they treated others. Kobe was a walking angel. Which leads me to my next part. To the Lakers, especially LeBron. What you must be going through, I can't even imagine. You lost a teammate, a friend, and a brother. The fact that you still played a game the night of his death and dedicated it to Kobe, it shows how much he meant and you have earned all of my respect. To the NBA. Well, all I can say is we're shocked and in despair. Not only did Kobe inspire fans but he inspired players from every team. I've seen players such as Stephen Curry, Ja Morant, and many more just be devastated over your death. I went to one of my basketball games and they had a jersey out for you. What I'm trying to say is just remember that the NBA, the WNBA, and every basketball fan in the world will never forget you or your legacy. These are my final words. For Kobe.

(Everyone please pray for Vanessa, Natalia, Capri, and Bianka)
