As I go to my room I see something shining in a half open drawer and go up to it. I see the pearl and necklace I gave Katniss in the quarter quell and her bows from both games and war.
I can't help but remember those times and happy my Child doesn't have to live through the horror of getting you name chosen and going into the games. I know it was hard for me and ... we'll not so much Katniss.
