Arya's POV
"Your Highness," I hear a voice from behind.
I turn around to see Prince Zayn walk in behind Samar.
"Did you finish your poem?" Prince Zayn asks.
"Well I have an eight line poem, if you want me to write more I can make it longer but that means I need more time," I reply with a smile.
"I think that will do. We still have to go around and show you the rest of Palace," Prince Zayn says as I pass him the paper I wrote the poem on.
Helpless
Subjects all around cower in fear,
holding close things they find oh so dear,
watching close but never too near,
close enough to cause a tear,
cries far and wide people will hear,
being so far nothing is clear,
for a solution will not appear,
in the end the risk is for the peers.
"Wow, this is just so heartfelt," he says after reading it.
"Thank you, it's just whatever came to mind," I say with a smile as he motions me to follow him.
I get up then we walk back to the palace behind Prince Zayn and Samar. As we reach the steps toward Prince Zayn's library, Samar disappears and Prince Zayn motions me to follow him.
"Well, now we could look at the map or talk about books," he says as we climb to the library.
"I believe we should talk about tactics first," I say with a smile.
Why is he so relaxed about this? It's very important, he shouldn't be so calm and relaxed about all of this.
"Yes, but we have time," he says with an earnest look in his eyes.
"The sooner the better," I say with a smile.
"True but if we get to know each other, we will understand each other's perspective better," he says thoughtfully.
"Your Highness, a carriage has arrived with the symbol of the princess of Orifa," Samar says walking into the library.
"Isabella?" I ask shocked.
"Yes, should we let her in?" Samar asks.
"Why of course, we need not more trouble," Prince Zayn says.
"But they are allies with Ajra," Samar says.
"We do not deny entry to the castle to any members of the royal families who come in peace Samar," Prince Zayn says as Samar leaves to open the gates.
"He's right though, Ajra and Orifa have been allies for quite some time," I say smiling.
"Well we should go greet the new guest," he says walking down the stairs.
Oh no what am I going to do? Isabella is one of my closest friends, she will recognize me if I go in front of her. What if she ruins my cover? No, no, she will not harm me in anyway, but what if she says my name?
"Are you okay?" Prince Zayn says from the bottom of the stairs.
"Oh sorry, I'm fine," I reply.
"Well come down then," he says as I start descending the long stairs.
"Um, do you know Princess Isabella?" I ask as I reach the bottom of the stairs.
"Not personally, but we do have a good trade with Orifa," Prince Zayn says as I trip over my own feet as he catches me.
