"I don't know how to do life without him, Oliver."
"I know." I said
"This is all my fault."
"Kara, how do you figure?"
"I should've went out in the field with him."
"Grodd would've killed you too." I said "he didn't want us there." I added
" I should've been." She said
"Come on we have to get ready."

At the funeral....

Nobody POV:

Everybody got up to say something.

Oliver went first. " Barry, I'm sorry. I wish there was something I could have done. You always believed in me and I always believe in you. You're like a brother to me. You're my best friend. I'll never forget all that you've done. Miss you man." He said and sat down. Kara was next.
"Barry, you welcomed me with open arms even when I told you who I really was. You never doubted me. You pushed me to be better. Inspired me. Taught me how to be a better hero and mother. I never imagined life without you. Never though I'd have to. I'll carry you with me always." She said and sat. Iris was next.
"Since the day you came to live with us I knew you were special. You drove me insane at times but that's what family does. We fell in love and things didn't work out. But that love never stopped. It never will. I wasn't the love of your life but you were the love of mine. I love you barr." She said and sat. It was Cait's turn.
"What do I say barr? That it wasn't enough time? Because it wasn't. You're my best friend. The love of my life. The one who could always put a smile on my face. You taught me a lot of things Barry Allen. You saved me more times than I can count. But one thing that always stuck with me is."

"How life carries on endlessly

"How life carries on endlessly. Even after death. So I'll do my best to do just that. For you. I love you barry." She said and sat down. They started to lower him into the ground.

The next day...

Oliver POV:

Kara was awake and dressed and running around star labs.
"You coming with me today?" I asked her
"No I've got things to do today." She said
"What are you up to?" I asked but she didn't answer "Kara what's going on?"
"I'm going to find a way to bring my best friend back to life." She said
"Barry? Come on Kara. We just buried him yesterday."

" I have to try!" She yelled "hes barry Allen

" I have to try!" She yelled "hes barry Allen. He's the flash." She said and walked away.
"Kara!" I yelled after her but it was useless. I went to go visit his grave.

"Hey man. It's been a rough weekend. Today was especially hard. I'm used to you running around and now you're not. Listen man, I'm really sorry." I said
"Felicity said I might find you here." Mia said walking up
"Yeah figured I'd come visit him."

We sat there for a little in silence.
"Dad?"
"Yeah"

"You've...you've lost people right?" She asked
"Yeah. Too many."
"Does the guilt ever leave?"
"No." I said and she looked away "you have to let people in. Your aunt told me that a long time ago. I never listened and then one day I did. It's much easier having people to talk to.

"I can help you with that, Mia
