Hello humanity! This is my first poem. I am really excited to write it here. This poem was written when I was in dilemma of either taking the responsibility of my mistake or blame someone else to come out clean. That was the moment that I pondered how human mind functions during a crisis. I hate to admit that I sort of made the other person guilty as well. And then I passed countless sleepless nights just because the conscience inside me was mocking me all the time. Then I decided it was high time I confess everything. I did. It was a chaos for a while but now I am at peace. To all the people who will ever read my poem, I urge you all to be honest with yourself because the web of lies that you weave will just empower the Satan inside you. Explore, dive, fall, rise but always stay true to yourself even if it's the hardest thing to do.
Pointing fingers at others,
Because you cannot blame yourself.
For the Satan inside you dominates,
And there is no other help.
The chitter chatter in your mind,
Keeps on resounding around.
Swallowing your vanity,
The 'YOU' in yourself drowned.
You are a part of a machine,
And not a human being.
Seeking yourself in stranger's approval,
The certainty little by little fleeing.
Heart void of any emotions,
Soul, an empty den.
The voices don't leave you,
You keep counting till ten, again and again.
Befuddled everyday,every hour,every minute,
You act a little deranged.
Quenching your insatiable thirst,
Becoming a dime a dozen and strange.
Now you are stuck to the core,
Discarding the stains on your soul.
You prowl throughout the vicinity,
Affixing the pieces to mold a new whole.Thank you for reading my poem. I hope you all have a wonderful time. I will waiting eagerly for your comments. Please make my day by voting and commenting. Till then,
Pyaar se pyaar karo.
