Hola!!! Second poem in a day. What can I say. I am feeling extremely happy today. Writing my poems and bizarre thoughts on Wattpad was among the best decisions that I have taken in a few days. The chance to meet new family members here is overwhelming. I hope that you all give me a chance to befriend you. I am eagerly waiting for your comments so that I can talk to you about anything under the sun, maybe even about the sun. Wink, wink!!
Without further ado,

And the poem is,

I have been feeling strange lately,
The world seems so distant.
All are sprinting towards the unknown,
Jeopardizing my existence.
I sit on my window pane,
Hoping to see a familiar face.
Sighing deeply, again and again,
I wait for the loneliness to brace.
"What is wrong with me?
Why am I lurching into isolation?"
And just like every other time,
My mind stayed numb even after persuasion.
Where to go,in whom to confide?
They don't understand the feeling,
Of being a part of the crowd,
Yet feel a part of myself gradually leaving.
Nothing scares me anymore,
Not even the blood seeping through my veins.
I have become a stranger to myself,
Burning my soul in roaring flames.
But everytime I close my eyes,
I see a beautiful butterfly,
In the world full of flies.
Making me realize that it's not a goodbye.
The colours belong to me too,
The dark phase will fade by.
Because this time too shall pass,
Even if it's winters, the spring will be nearby.

And now the story time!!! I hope that you do not get bored reading my rant about the poem. It's just that every poem that I have written has a story attached to it. This one was written when my teacher was teaching about Elliot's criticism of poetry. According to Elliot, a poet should never portray his/her personality in the poem. And following this rule only a masterpiece can be written. So that evening I decided to curb my happiness and pen down a poem about a broken soul but then as I was proceeding I thought that I could not end this poem on a sad note because I want my poem to be more about empowerment. There is already too much sadness in the world. And amidst all the sad faces, I happy one is like a rainbow in the dark cloudy days.

Lastly, I will also be waiting for your vote, comment and messages. It will really make my day. So I urge all the readers to stop for a moment and drop a comment. For starters you can write the place you belong to. I am from India. Or you can also comment your honest opinion about the poem. Thank you. Till then,

Pyaar se pyaar karo.
