Chapter 8

Subaru slammed the door open and was panting out your name. 

"Wtf Subaru! Y/n doesn't want to fucking see you!" Ayato shouted out at him. Subaru ignored him and just pushed Shu off the sofa and sat down next to you. Shu shot him a glare as he got up from the floor. Reiji made eye contact with you and you nodded, then all the brothers left the room, leaving the two of you alone. 

"I'm so sorry Y/n, I don't know how it happened it ju-" 

"Subaru, it's fine. Your brothers told me that all the girls were planning something," you interrupted him. 

Subaru's eyes were wide open, telling you that he didn't know about this either. "W-what?" he asked. His hand reached out for your and grabbed onto it tightly but gently. Subaru pulled you into a hug, digging his face into your neck. "I'm sorry Y/n. It's all because I got you pregnant that this is happening to you... I really am a monster aren't I? I ended up hurting the one person that I love so much..." Hearing what he said made your eyes well up with tears (again). 

You pushed away from him and looked him in the eyes, your hand on his chest, while his arms were still wrapped around you. "No, Subaru. You aren't a monster, and you never were. I love you, and I'm happy that I'm about to give birth to our child. (Why is this so cheesy?) I couldn't imagine my life without you, Subaru." A single tear ran down your cheek. Subaru's hand reached the back of your head and pulled you into a gentle kiss, a kiss that showed how much he really loved you. 

After that, you guys cuddled for a while. You two fell asleep in one another's arms, but of course, you were interrupted by the dismissal bell. "Dammit! Why are people always disturbing our beauty sleep?!" you giggle which made Subaru look at you with confusion. "Oi. Why are you laughing, Baka!?" he asked.

"It's just that you're so cute Subaru!" Subaru turned red after hearing this. 

"Sh-shut up, baka." After a while, you two reached the front of the school at the limo, and there in the limo waited the brothers. It felt quite empty since you were the only girlfriend that had come to school today. You could feel the brothers staring holes into you two, 'Ah. They're probably wondering what happened between us' you realized. The ride back to the mansion was absolute silence.
