Chapter 9

It wasn't long before the limo reached the mansion and you and all the brothers got out. The other brothers just went to where they usually would be. Shu went to living room to sleep. Reiji went to his lab to make some potions. Ayato went who knows where, probably to going to his girlfriend. Laito, probably to go bug his girl. Kanato to get some dessert to eat. And Subaru, stayed with you. 

You were actually quite surprised that the others didn't question what had happened between the both of you. 'Reiji probably told them not to ask..' you thought. 

Subaru grabbed your hand, snapping you out of your thoughts. You realized that you were standing in the center of the foyer. You look at Subaru. "Let's go Y/n," he said quite gently, make a smile appear on your face. 

"Of course."

You both started walking hand in hand, towards the garden, one of Subaru's favorite places to be with you. You walked there in complete silence. Once you had reached the garden, you both sat down at your usual spot. The edge of the fountain. 

The fountain was one of the classic fountains, but it still brought you happiness. You sat there, both enjoying the silence and the moonlight. You took a deep breath as you felt the baby kick again,"Ouch."

Rubbing your stomach, Subaru quietly chuckled, "Causing your mother trouble, are you?" The baby immediately stopped kicking, amazing you. 

"Whaa..?" you looked at Subaru and saw that he was trying to hold in his laughter. You pouted, "If you want to laugh you can..." you grumbled. 

Subaru started laughing out loud. He wasn't going to admit it but he actually found it extremely cute whenever you pouted. But continued laughing, making a smile come to your face. Somehow, you also started laughing. "I- don't even- know- why I'm- laughing!" you said while laughing. 

You both laughed together for a while, and the laughter eventually died down, and it was just you two again, enjoying each other's presence in silence. Subaru held your hand and squeezed it, you squeezed back. "Y/n."

"Yes?" you turned your head towards him only for your lips to be caught in a gentle kiss. He pulled away. 

"I have something to show you," he said standing up.
