"Dahyun, the chairman wants to talk to me so I need to leave you alone here. Is it okay?" Miss Rosé asked

"Yes, Miss. I'll take care of everything here," I said

"Thank you. I know I can count on you. Don't worry, I'll be back after a few minutes!" she said

I smiled. "Take your time, Miss. I'm fine here."

"Thank you! Goodbye!"

I just nodded. I check the documents we need to give later.

Just another ordinary day. Nothing's special with this day. Actually, I'm enjoying this. I want to focus all of my attention to my work, I don't want to think about him.

I stop what I'm doing when the telephone rang. I immediately answered the call.

"Miss Rosé isn't here at the moment. This is the assistant of Miss Rosé, how may I help you?"

"This is Chairman Park, where is she?"

My eyes widen. "O-oh, good day Mister Chairman. Miss Rosé is on the way to your office, Sir."

"Oh, thank you."

He hung up. I sigh in relief. I don't really want to talk to the chairman. He's the least person I want to talk to. Awhile ago, I'm a bit nervous.

"Knock knock!"

"Come in," I said

I stop working to see who was it.

"Jooheon, why are you here?" I asked

"I had something to tell you. Wait, where's Miss Rosé?" he asked

"Oh, the chairman called him. But maybe she'll be back after a few minutes," I said

"Oh, maybe the chairman misses her daughter."

"Daughter?" I asked

"Oh, you don't know? Miss Rosé is the chairman's daughter," he said

My eyes widen.

"Based on your reaction, I bet you don't know. Well, it's really not that obvious. Miss Rosé don't call him father since they're working," he said

"Oh, she's so professional," I commented

"You're right. Actually, the chairman offered her a big position but she refused. She wants to start from bottom. Miss Rosé wants to earn that position because of her hard work, not because of his father," he said, with full of admiration

"I admire Miss Rosé for that. She's really a nice girl. I'm glad she's my boss," I said

"Yeah, you're right. A boss like her is hard to find," he said

"And a girlfriend like her," I added

He just nodded.

"Wait, before I forgot to ask, why are you here?"

"Oh, right! I almost forgot!" I just laugh, he's really forgetful. "My boss had a surprise birthday party for Miss Rosé."

"When is Miss Rosé's birthday?" I asked

"Her birthday's on February 11," he answered

"Wait, it's still January. Why are we talking about that, right now?" I asked

"Oh, my boss can't attend Miss Rosé's birthday party since after a few weeks, he'll be leaving. He'll go to states to manage their business their. So he planned to surprise Miss Rosé a month before her birthday," Jooheon explained
