The door opened and a man stepped inside. A man with silver hair turned around and smiled when he saw the man entering the room.

"What do you need me for, Dr. Brenner?" The man asked.

Dr. Brenner smirked at him. "I need you to help me with something," he said. They walked around the room together, which was a dimly lit up lab. "It seems that Eleven has been quite busy recently. She's been hanging out with the Avengers and Spider-Man, but they don't know how much of a threat she is."

"I've heard," the man replied with a nod. "Are we going to find her?"

"We need to, but Spider-Man seems to have gotten close to her," Brenner said. "I have a plan to take him out and get Eleven back."

"And what is this plan?"

The two men stopped walking when they reached a tank. Inside was a black liquid that was moving around, making screeching noises. The man raised an eyebrow when he saw it, not sure what it was. Brenner, however, had a smile on his face.

"This, my friend, is what we call Symbiote," the doctor explained. "It takes over one's body, turning them into something evil, but also a fighter. I'm going to find someone who will bear the symbiote and kill Spider-Man. All it needs is some of Spider-Man's DNA in order to match his abilities, but make it more powerful."

"How does that work?" The man asked.

"I have learned that Spider-Man was given his abilities by a radioactive spider," Brenner said. "So, I have created my own."

The man looked over to see many cases of spiders, each labeled with a number on its back. He looked around at all of them, immediately realizing what Brenner was planning to do.

"You're young to create an army?" He asked. "An army of Spider-Men?"

Brenner nodded. "But, Flint Marko, we will use one of them to give the symbiote it's spider abilities," he said. "Then we can create our army."

Flint smiled a wicked grin. "I like this plan," he said. "I can help too. If we're going to use this to get Eieven back in our hands, then I want to help."

"And you will," Brenner said with a small smile. "Your sand powers will be a great help. But, if the symbiote doesn't work, then I have something better."

The two men walked farther into the lab, which was in the dark. Brenner pressed a button and out came two green pods. Flint watched as he lifted up one of them, revealing Chief Jim Hopper inside it.

"Isn't that the man who took in Eleven?" Flint asked.

Brenner nodded. "Yes, and he's very much alive," he said. "But we'll be keeping him here for now. Can't have Eleven figuring this out just yet. Only when the time is right, we can bring in the man she cares most about. At least, besides her little boyfriend back in Hawkins."

Flint nodded at him, but then looked over to the second pod. "If you don't mind, sir," he said. "But what's in there?"

Brenner gave him an evil smirk. "Something that will destroy Spider-Man," he simply said. The pod slowly opened up, revealing who was inside.

Flint's eyes widened when he saw who it was. "No..." he whispered as he stared at the person. "It can't be. That's impossible."

"Anything is possible, Marko," Brenner replied. "Now, Iron Man, it's time for you to start your new mission."

And just like that, Tony Stark's eyes opened.
