Strawberry milk

Chapter 3: strawberry milk

{*Todoroki's p.o.v*}

Bakugou sat down on the couch, I sat down next to him, he sighed and ran his hand through his hair, "deku is my ex, his name is actually Midoriya, Rose just calls him deku because that is what I used to call him before we started dating" Bakugou says, there was a sadness that was written over his face, "I caught deku in another relationship with this other guy, it hurt when I made him leave, it still hurts sometimes" Bakugou says.

I stare at the ash blonde male, I smiled, "Bakugou" I say, I hugged him, he hugged me as well, "I'm sorry that I made you bring that up" I say, "it is ok, I needed to talk about it" he says truthfully.

I stayed at the apartment, "would you like a hot chocolate?" he asked, I nod, Bakugou stood up and walked to the kitchen, I stood up and looked around for a bit, "you looking for something?" Bakugou asked, "ah I was looking around for a bigger blanket, just in case you wanted to share the blanket" I said, he smiled, "so why you are trying to say is that you are cold?" he says, "uh you caught me, my outfit doesn't give me much to work with"i say, "there should be some jumpers in my closet" Bakugou says, I smiled, "thanks" I say.

I walked into Bakugou's room then his closet, I opened it and saw a bunch of different types of clothes, I thought of my clothes, "still in the box" I say disappointedly, I picked out one of Bakugou's jumpers and put it on, it smelt of caramel and cinnamon, it was nice.

I sat back down on the couch, "I got you the hot chocolate" Bakugou says, I smiled, "thank you" I say, he gave me the mug, I took a sip, it was delicious, it was very chocolatey, he added marshmallows as well, "yummy~" I say with a smile, he laughed, "it is just hot chocolate" he says.

after finishing the hot chocolate Bakugou told me to go to sleep, "if you try and leave again I will know" he says, I laughed, "ok mom" I say, he scoffed, "goodnight Todoroki" he says, "goodnight!" I say.

he entered his room and closed the door behind him, I snuggled up on the couch, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I woke up to someone poking my face, "sho sho sho sho" I was Rose, she was saying my name over and over, "hm I'm up" I say, she smiled, "morning!" she says happily, I sat up, "i'm going to head back to my apartment now, go to your dad's room and tell him I said thank you" I say, Rose nods and then she ran to Bakugou's room, I left the apartment and walked to my room,"alright let's do this" I say.

I started to put my stuff into the correct places, I grabbed my clothes boxes and started putting them into my closet, I was listening to music as I did, ' I wished you liked boys ' started playing, I sang along, even though it was cover I still enjoyed the song.

after putting that away I started to put away my books, I had two boxes filled up with books, I didn't have a place to put them,"this place is really empty" I say, I sighed, "i should order some new stuff" I say, I pulled out my phone, I went to eBay™, "i'll just get a small couch" I say, I looked through a bit before stumbling across a nice looking couch and it wasn't that expensive, I continued finding good things until I had ordered a new couch, tv, bookcase, bed and desk for my room.

I lay down on my makeshift bed, "i should try to find a job" I say to myself, I sat up, "there should be jobs around here" I say, I looked at my outfit, it was just a shirt and shorts with Bakugou's jumper over it, his jumper went to my knees, I took off Bakugou's jumper and wrapped it around my waist, I put on my socks then shoes, I left the apartment after that.

I walked down stairs and saw Jiro, "heya Jiro" I say, "good morning Todoroki" she says, "no Rose?" she asked, "oh I am looking for a job so bringing her wasn't necessary" I say, "oh yeah makes sense, have a good day" she says, "oh ok, you too" I say before leaving the building.

I walked around the streets with a smile, today started off good, a dog came up to me and asked for pets, I happily gave him them, I came across a café with a help wanted sign out front, I entered the little store only to be greeted by a tall women, she was taller than me, like everyone else, "ah hello sir, welcome to our café, how can I help you?"she asked, "i saw your help wanted sign out front..." I say, she smiled brightly, "oh this is wonderful" she says, "i'm Momo Yaoyorozu, I run this facility" she says, I looked around the café, it was very pastel, the walls painted a white, the chairs a light blue or pink, the tables a baby blue, "come on back, I will give you a form you need to sign" she says.

Yaoyorozu took me to the staff room, she sat down at a table, "come sit" she says, I sat down, "ok so what's your name?" she asked, "uh Shoto Todoroki" I say, "ok Todoroki, do you have any cooking experience?" she asked, "oh I can bake sweets, like cupcakes, cakes, shortbread, banana bread etc" I say, Yaoyorozu smiled, "well I am going to give you a sheet of paper, I need you to write your information on it with the days you can work and your experience in working at a café" she says, Yaoyorozu hands me a piece of paper and a pen.

I fill out the sheet, "i'm done" I say, she took the paper, "alright well I will give you a call in a couple of days to tell you if you have the job, do you want to stay and have some food, today is pretty quiet" she asked, "sure why not" I say.

we walked back into the main part of the café, "so what would you like?" she asked, "i will get strawberry milk and uh... a caramel slice" I say, she nods, "that will be $4.20, cash or card?" she asked, "uh cash" I say, I hand her the money, "alright your order will come soon" she says, I sat down at one of the tables, no one else was in the store which was good.

I waited for a bit before Yaoyorozu came back with my stuff, "here you go!" she says, I took a sip of my strawberry milk, "thanks!" I say.

I sat eating my food, I looked at my strawberry milk and smiled, it brought back a memory,

{Todo's memory}

I sat on the floor watching cartoons, "shoto honey" I hear my mother say, I turned around, "i got something you might like" she says, I stood up and walked over to her, she hands me a small box type thing, "it is a small carton of strawberry milk" she says, it was already open, I took of sip of the milk, "mhm it is yummy" I say, she smiled, "i'm glad you enjoy sweetie" she says.

I smiled, it was a happy memory, "I miss her" I say to myself, I finished my food and drink and sat up, "hey Yaoyorozu, can I have a strawberry milk to go?" I asked, she smiled and nodded, she came back and handed me a carton of strawberry milk, "thank you, how much is this?" I asked, "it is on the house, don't worry" she says, j smiled, "thank you,I hope I will see you again" I say, "i have a feeling we will" she says.

I walked back to the apartment, when I got back inside Rose came running omat me, "Sho!" she yells, "hey what are you doing out in the lobby?" I asked, she hugged me, "you weren't in your room so I was here asking Jiro" she says, "i got you something" I say, she looked up at me, "it is a small carton of strawberry milk" I say, I open it and hand it to her, she took a sip, "mhm it is yummy!" she says, "you like it?" I asked, "oh I do! it's super yummy, thanks sho!" she says, I smiled, "no problem" I say.

she ran upstairs, I followed her, Rose ran into her own apartment, "daddy! look what sho got for me!" she says, I stood at the entrance of the doorway, "oh so you found him, what did he get you?" Bakugou asked, "strawberry milk! it is really yummy!" she says, I smiled, "it is really nothing" I say, "it is a lovely gift, i don't really get time to give Rose treats like this" Bakugou says, i smiled, "you're welcome then" I say.
