Echo's New Life

~Chapter One~

She hated it. The planet she lived on. The only person that she cared about on this God forsaken planet was her sister. Michyio, being her sister. Her much taller and prettier older sister. You see, Michyio Re'sha was the Commander of the clans hunters. Herself, Echo Re'sha, was merely a hunter with in that clan. Their father was the leader of the clan in the largest part of Prime. Her mother was just another female yautja that her father mated with to make them. Echo found it odd that the males of her species don't seem to not care about the females. It was annoying to have to deal with the males.

No matter how hard Echo tried, she could escape what was coming today. Today, she was to be chosen as a mate. All females her age were to be chosen. But the male that chose her was not who she expected. His name was Vel'lock, the son of the leader of a bad blood clan. Echo hated that male. He treated her like cjit. (Cjit - Shit in Yautja). She wondered if she'd EVER find that right mate. The one to ALWAYS keep her safe. To PROTECT her. But no, that wasn't possible in this world.

"Echo stop squirming...", Michyio said to her stubborn little sister when she tried to place rings in her dreads. "It hurts Michi!", Echo said as she whined. "Your a big girl, come on...", She responded and pat her shoulder. "Why do I have to do this... Forced to be chosen as a mate...", Echo asked. Michyio sighed, "We've been over this
mei-jadhi... You have to do this... You know how I got my mate... And lost him... You are lucky to be able to have this chance...", She said as she finished preparing her sister for the choosing ceremony. "But what if he isn't... You know... The ri-", she was cut off by a guard calling Echo up. Echo hugged her taller sister and whined softly. "Good luck my little mei-jadhi...", Michyio said and watched her sister run off.

"We are here today to celebrate our leaders youngest daughter's coming of age and she is ready to be chosen as a mate by these 5 males", the announcer said as he stepped down, letting Echo show herself. The males in the arena below her bowed and got into battle stance. Echo sighed and spoke, "Be on with the competition then...", She said and sat down. The 5 males chosen to fight for her hand would begin to fight for her, one of them being the bad blood leaders son. That male was very big, muscular and quite intimidating by himself. But, his fighting style was barbaric and sloppy. Still, it proved to be affective as he mowed down the other 4 opponents, knocking them out of the ring with ease. This wasn't want Echo wanted. She watched as the male she hated, roared in victory. She would shake her head, placing her hands on her head, "I can't do this!", She said out loud, taking the golden leaved crown off her head and running away. Michyio grunted, "Echo no!", She yelled, catching the attention of the bad blood and their clan as they immediately took off after her.

Echos mind was set on one thing. Getting the HELL off this planet. She finally reached her ship and set course for Earth. She hated the planet as well but knew the bad bloods hated it more. Echo blasted off quickly but noticed 3 ships in the distance. "T-They followed me?!", She yells in frustration as the bad blood ships began to shoot at her. "Why are they shooting at me?!", She yells again and dodged them. Her ship didn't have any defense systems so all she could do was Dodge. "ECHO YOU ARE SO STUBBORN!", Her sisters voice rang through the speakers of her ship. "M-michyio stop it! Don't follow me-", she was cut off my her engine falling and exploding. "Ah!", She yells as she tried to control her ship. Michyio was then seen flying near her sister and shooting back at the bad bloods ship, leading them away from Echo. "Get the hell outta here! If your going to run, go!", Michyio yells at her. Before Echo could respond, one of the three ships chasing her, slammed into Michyio's ship, causing it to explode. "MICHYIO!!", Echo screams in despair.  She let her guard down briefly to mourn, "This is all my fault!!", She said and whined. All of her mourning was stopped as she flew through her teleportation rip in space, teleporting near a new planet, the rip closing behind her. Echo came back to her senses and realized she was gonna crash. She gripped the controls and pulled up. She couldn't see through her tears, unable to see were she was, she crashed. Tumbling down a snowy hill, and into a snow wonderland of a forest.

All she could remember before she blacked out was a black silhouette of a figure walked towards her.
