I pushed through the crowd, under the yellow tape and through the police officers. I walked by a stretcher with a person on it, covered by a sheet. I felt angry, guilty, and thankful at the same time. Angry because he couldn't protect Sherlock and John. Guilty because I had been so awful to him demanding his life from him. But thankful because he had given the ultimate sacrifice to try and save them.

"Mycroft!" I called weakly.

"I'm here! I'm here. "He said walking down the stairs. I ran to him and threw my arms around him. He stood there frozen and did not make any move to either hold me or push me away. But I was also pissed at him, if it wasn't for him I would have still been here and maybe I could have saved them. I pulled away and started pounding my fists on his chest in rage. He stood there for a second or two as I released my rage on him, but then grabbed my arms and shook me hard. I was crying hard now, mumbling inanities under my breathe at him.

"Adeline. Adeline get a grip for god's sake. You need to breath and calm down. You think I don't already blame myself for this?" He asked giving me a stern look. I just glared back at him. "Now then we have a lead I think we may know where they were take. I have video cameras set all around the country under my command and I have been following a black sedan all the way to Portsmouth near the docks. That is where I believe they are, now we need to leave now the faster we get there the better chance we have of saving them."

We sped down the roads of London to the airport and hustled onto Mucroft's personal jet. It felt like the longest ride of my life. Mycroft was discussing plans for ambushing some warehouse by the ports. I listened off and on, but when we got there I had a plan of my own.

After we landed we were all supposed to get in some police cars and go to some building and meet more, but  knew from experience that would not work. It would take too long and a large group is easy to follow and target. While walking from the jet to the car I slipped away and found one of the many cabs ready for the taking. I had the address of the warehouse drilled into my head.

I was smart enough to remember the stupid but effective uniform Mycroft had bought me, along with some fire arms and a couple of other things, which I had thrown into a small pack before we left London. I started to undress not even caring if the cabby watched. That is until I noticed we had slowed down and were swerving a bit.

"Pay attention to the road and step on it!" I hissed. Pulling up the zipper. I loaded my three guns and as I pulled on my gloves I looked at my ring. We had only been engaged a month, and I planned on marrying the love of my life. I slipped the ring into one of the many compartments of my belt, before pulling a glove over my left hand. I had the driver stop a couple of ware houses down. By the time the car stopped I was basically out the door. I threw a wad of money at the driver knowing it was way over the amount due, but I had bigger problems.

AN: Sorry it is so short!!! But we are coming to a close. Please remeber to comment and hit that little star. I  have this song because I love it, and I think it describes Addy's love for Sherlock well.
