"Can we please talk?"

Chenle halted in his steps. "I'm sorry for overreacting. I didn't mean to avoid you, it just... happened." He lowered his head.

Jisung became silent for a moment. "I- I'm also sorry for getting carried away that time."

They didn't speak for a few seconds again.

"Can we act like before again?" Jisung stuttered out.

Chenle just nodded slightly.

"Are you sure?" Jisung sounded hesitant at Chenle's act.

Chenle turned around and smiled softly at Jisung, and oh Jisung! He fell deeper for the boy in front. Then he also smiled a little at him.

It was almost back to normal, almost.

But Jisung noticed that whenever he was close to Chenle, the boy would create a distance between them.

He was upset but didn't show it, always covered it up with a smile.
