You lived with your Aunt alone. Your parents had passed away a few years ago and you had no one else except your Aunt. She was like a mother to you. You lived a tough life ever since your parents passed. At school you're known as "faceless girl" since you always wore a hoodie and a mask because you didn't want to show your face to anyone except your Aunt. You then headed to school late

Teacher: Ah y/n there you are. You missed the announcement this morning so I wanted to tell you that we have a project due tomorrow. It consists of two people. You and your partner. Your project is to interview an owner from a store. Your partner is Yang Jeongin and he already chose a place for you guys. Good luck on your project *leaves*

You were pretty overwhelmed by what just happened. You weren't that excited because you hated people and you didn't want to socialize

Jeongin POV

Beomgyu: Awh man I feel sorry for you

Jeongin: Why?

Beomgyu: I mean your partner is the faceless girl

Gyuri: Omg her?! Ahhh Jeongin I'm so sorry *fake cries*

Jeongin: Faceless girl? You mean y/n?

Mark: Shhh legend says if you say her name three times, she'll come a take your face off!! *Makes spooky noises*

They start laughing except for Jeongin

Jeongin: Hey come on guys that's not funny

Gyuri: Calm downnn we're just joking

Beomgyu: Yeah Jeongin you take things too seriously

Jeongin: Yeah yeah whatever. Oh wait I see her in the hallway

Mark: Welp good luck dude

Beomgyu: Don't die *laughs*

Jeongin: Oh shut up *hits him*

Jeongin: Okay Jeongin, go talk to her

Your POV

Y/n: Ugh let's go find this Jeongin guy-

Jeongin: Hey y/n!

You slightly yell and back away as he scares the heck out of you

Jeongin: Oh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you. I'm really sorry

You just look away and start walking

Jeongin: H-hey wait *runs to you* Hey do you want to go to the pet store now?

You just sigh and nod since you don't have anything to say to him

You both just start walking without saying a word to eachother. It got pretty awkward really quickly until the silence got interrupted when a young girl fell on the sidewalk near you guys and started crying. You have a soft spot for kids so you head over to her immediately and Jeongin follows you

Y/n: Hey there, are you okay?

You can see in the little girl's eyes that she's afraid of you. You realize what you're wearing and remove your mask and hoodie and you made your hair look nice

Y/n: Don't worry, I won't hurt you. Here let me help you up

You carried her and cleaned her clothes and hair off

Y/n: There we go *smiles* here

You smile as you give her a lollipop which was in your pocket

Little girl: Thank you *smiles and hugs you*

Y/n: Haha of course. You go be careful now okay?

Little girl: Okay *smiles and heads back to where she was playing*

You smile widely as you watch her go back. You were a bit surprised when you hear Jeongin speak as you completely forgot about him

Jeongin: Awww she was adorable. Wow I never knew you were so great with kids!

Y/n: Haha yeah, I love kids. I have such a soft spot in my heart for the-

Jeongin looks at you confused as you stop talking. Your eyes widen as realize that you weren't wearing your mask and hoodie anymore. You quickly put them back on but he stops you

Jeongin: Wait don't *he grabs your hand*

You look at him in shock as he puts you hoodie down and moves the hair out of your face

Jeongin: There we go, now I can see your beautiful face clearly

Your eyes widen as you look away blushing hard

Jeongin: U-uh I mean, well um I-

He starts laughing nervously as you look at him smiling. He sees your smile and smiles back

Jeongin: Well I'm not wrong, you are beautiful. Why do you cover your face? If you don't mind me asking

Y/n: ...Well, I guess I just don't want to. I don't want people to see my face or talk to me. I don't know really

Jeongin: Wait so...am I the first to see your face?

Y/n: Yeah, I guess you are

Jeongin: Ahhh wow! I'm the first one to see that beautiful smile of yours *smiles widely*

Y/n: *you blush* stop itttt you're so cheesy *you laugh as you hit his arm*

Jeongin: Haha I'm only speaking truth

Y/n: Pft anywaysssss! we should go nowww

Jeongin: Haha yes ma'ammm *winks*
