Background: You've been Jeongin's best friend since you were children. You had a huge crush on him growing up but you never told him. You guys later planned to hang out after his practice since you guys haven't seen eachother in a while

Jeongin: Do you have the location?

Y/n: Yeps!

Jeongin: Okay see you there 😊

Y/n: 😊

Once you see him you immediately hug him. Even though y'all are best friends he was still pretty shy around you especially since he hasn't seen you in a while.

Y/n: Ahh Jeongin-a! I haven't seen you in so long I missed youuuuu *you pinch his cheeks and he gets all shy and covers his face*

Jeongin: Aigoo please don't do that, you know that I don't like it

Y/n: I know I know but still you're such a baby. I have to

Jeongin: You're one year younger than me!

Y/n: Blah blah whateverrrr

He chuckles and you both head inside the cafe'

Y/n: So Jeongin-a how have you and your members been? I see on Instagram and Twitter that you guys have been working hard on your songs

Jeongin: Ah we are doing great. We had a lot of fun in the U.S. touring around the place and meeting new Stays

Y/n: Aww that's great Jeongin. Please make sure to stay safe though. I don't want you guys to get sick *you pout and he looks away blushing*

Jeongin: Yes Mom I know *he says sarcastically and you both laugh*

A few minutes pass and you both head to the park. The sun was starting to set and you both admire the beautiful nature

Jeongin: Wah the sky is so beautiful today

Y/n: Yeah it really is

You both stay silent and admire the sunset for a while

Y/n: Ah Jeongin I missed you so much. I wish I could tell you how I feel but I know that could never happen

You look down with a sad face

Jeongin: Hey are you okay?

You blush as he places his hand on your shoulder

Y/n: Yeah I am, I just have a lot on my mind haha

Jeongin: Like what?

Y/n: Ah it's nothing

Jeongin: Hey you know you can tell me. We are best friends. We always tell eachother everything

You look away nervously

Y/n: Should I tell him?...

Y/n: Jeongin...promise me that we can still be friends after I tell you this?

He looks nervous, but nods his head confidently

Y/n: O-okay well...I..I like you. Like really like you. I've had a huge crush on you since we were in 4th grade together when you were my only friend. I tried to ignore my feelings for you because I know we could never be together and trust me I've accepted that and I'm okay with it. I just wanted to let you know that I love you and that I'm perfectly fine with us being best friends

Jeongin stares at you in shock

Y/n: Or...did I screw up our friendship by telling you my feelings. Oh god what did I do

Jeongin: N-no no it's o-okay *he clears his throat* Wow y/n I never knew you felt this way about me...I don't know what to say

Y/n: You don't have to say anything. I am putting no pressure on you to say how you feel about me. As long as we're still friends I'm still grateful for that

You and Jeongin stare at eachother for a while. He's about to speak before we get interrupted by his phone

Jeongin: A-ah yes Chan Hyung?

Chan: I'm really sorry to interrupt but you've been out for a while and Park Jinyoung PDnim says for you to head to the dorms now

Jeongin: Ah yes Hyung I understand

Chan: Tell y/n we say hi

Jeongin: Haha okay. Bye *ends phone call*

Y/n: I'm guessing you have to go now?

Jeongin: Yeah, I'm sorry

Y/n: No it's okay! I had a lot of fun today. I...hope you had fun as well

Jeongin: Yeah I did. It was really nice seeing you again Y/n. We should hang out once again later

Y/n: Yeah! Haha that would be great

You both stare at eachother and give eachother a hug. This wasn't just a normal hug but it felt different. A part of you was satisfied but another part of you felt hurt? Not exactly hurt but something similar. It's like you don't want to let go of him, but you have to.

Jeongin: Bye y/n *smiles*

Y/n: Bye Jeongin *waves*
