The morning
In my own room. past 10a.m. I get up and walk downstairs. riley was the only one up and not out.

"Hey gurl" he says "come sit with me"

"Hey"

"The boys will be back later"

I smiled.

"What do u plan on doing today?" He says

"Gotta look at the calendar still not awake..." I pulled out my phone. "looks like nothing."

"Maybe we could go out together."

"Sure."
We paused
"Mom and dad are working."

"Really? I thought the were off..."

"They said they had to work..."

He hugged me tight and whispered, "do I get a morning kiss?"

"No" I laughed

He looked at me squinting his eyes. I got up and he chased me around til I ran into a wall and he kiss me on the cheek til I could give him the kiss. "go get ready were gonna do stuff together, is that ok?" Riley says to me halfway dressed.

Downstairs afterwards
"morning sweetie" mrs Mcdonough sped past me. "what are you up to?" I walk into the kitchen where Joan is, riley comes downstairs.

"We're going out" I say

"Who's we?" Joan asks sarcasticly

"Me and her" riley says coming up behind me. I look at him and smile

"To riley, you're gonna behave right. you've been the best you've been with a girl with this one right in front of u."
We laughed. he walked up to his my "I promise...im not 10 anymore."

"Right" she smirks saying sarcasticly.

I laughed trying not laugh so hard. riley turned around and said "really mom? you always told me I was more mature than any of the guys...but Connors mature enough"

We all chuckled. "I thought sierra had more humor in her than u, mom"

"She does hun, she does, just not in this convo...you know..."

"Leaving...lets go." Riley sighs trying not to laugh

"Let's go!" Joan says "by the way did u know the sense of humor I'm getting is from her..."

"You're not going anywhere...." riley stops her.

We leave. walking to the beach.

"Sorry about mom..." riley says.

"Don't be sorry...my mom would've done more than that to show off.."

He chuckled and grabbed my hand.

"I'm leaving to go to South Carolina tomorrow" I say leaving a sigh.

"You're already leaving."

"I'll be back. these upcoming months will be crazy for me though."

"Let's worry about today not tomorrow." he smiled.

"Ok. I just didn't want to cause anything more from yesterday if I told u last minute."

"RILLEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYY!" Thomas screams running towards him.

"He came out of no where." I say

"What's up." he stops and breathes. "You here for drum lessons?" Thomas says

"On the beach..seriously...and no dude." riley says

"Me and her are gonna take a walk and stuff." ri clears his throat.
