Part Eight - The Date

Mark's POV

"O-oppa?"

I smiled at her, gave her flowers before saying..
"Hi Minari! Hello, my wife."

Wah! They're cute!

They look good together, look at the visuals!

I can't help but smile seeing her beautiful shocked face.

"I- uh.."

She looks uneasy. So cute.

"Don't be nervous, Minari. It's just me. I'm sorry for not telling you earlier and for ruining your surprise.."

"Uh, no oppa. It's alright. Thank you. Uhm, I just didn't expect that you'd be my uh pa-"

"Husband." I continued and chuckled.

"Y-yes." She released an awkward smile.

"I'm so sorry, oppa. Sorry I'm so awkward. I just- I'm just not, uhm used to th- whatever this is. I- uhm"

Look at that, She's stuttering!

• [hosts]
Is she shy? Ah, They look together, no?

• [hosts]
Yes!

I smiled at her reassuringly.

"Don't worry, ya. Just act naturally. No pressure. I mean, I'm also a big awkward ass but, I just want you to know that I'm glad. I'm super thankful that you, of all people has become my wife. My partner."

She then smiled. A big, gummy, and sincere smile. "Me too, oppa. I'm glad it's you. I cannot thank you and everyone enough."

"So now... It's a date?" I smiled.

"Yes!"

I actually knew who my wife will be days before our meeting. Well at least because, Minari... (I chuckled) She probably got so excited, she uh- she messaged our group chat, JYP Nation. And she actually said that she'll be appearing in the new season of We Got Married and that she'll now be a wife. •

• [interview] mina:
I've really had a mixed feeling regarding the show. I am really excited but also nervous. I asked for support in our JYP Nation chat room, not actually realizing one of them might be my husband.. hehe! To be honest I never really expected for one of them to become my husband, that's one of the reasons I'm super nervous. I didn't know if I'll survive being with someone I didn't know much about. •

• [interview] mark:
My members, they are the ones who actually made me see Minari's message in the chat room. I was actually kinda pissed at them until now because they- uh, they have been silly around the chat sending hints that I'm the husband. Tsk. So annoying. (I shook my head and smiled) But, of course I'm still so thankful that they are there to support me through this journey. •

• [interview] mina:
I finally understand why the other Got7 oppas went so silly when I announced the news in the chat room. They probably didn't expect that twist as much as I and Mark oppa didn't. (I chuckled) For my members, I'm super grateful. Specially to Jihyo eonnie, She's actually the first member to know about the offer. And as usual, she has been very supportive. For the rest of them, I'm truly blessed. They supported me all throughout my journey here. They have always been there. They made sure I always got there back. (I smiled unknowingly) Yes, I'm really grateful for all of them, I love them so much. •

• [interview] mark:
Minari? Uhm.. The moment I knew about her being my wife, I was really happy. I mean, yes I'm nervous but the happiness filled that nervousness. She doesn't know this, uhm please don't tell her *chuckles* but I'm- I actually have this little, just a little crush on her. I've always admired her as an artist, a performer, a member, a friend, and even just an individual. She's so pure, innocent and lovely. I usually see her in the building because of course we are in the same company... And whenever I do, she never fails to greet me and everyone. Whenever we share a time together, with the other JYP Nation artists, I always have my eyes on her, I mean not to be creepy or what, I just- she just stands out effortlessly. We have this special uhm relationship? Uhm, we have always connected with each other even before this show. I always tend to talk to her when we all gather and I'm confident to say that we can always count on each other. Specifically me, I always have this special feeling towards her, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this just because of the show, but we really have a bond even before We Got Married. So I'm really honored and grateful for the opportunity to work with her. And of course I'm thankful for her because ever since our first meeting as husband and wife, She- I feel that she has been as thankful as I am. And that, It really warms my heart. •

• [interview] mina:
For Mark oppa, I'm- I can say that I'm blessed to have him as my husband for this show. Off cam, he has been a very good sunbae to us, Twice. We might not be seen as frequent on cam, but off cam, Twice and Got7, as well as the other JYP Nation artists like Stray Kids, Day6, 2pm, Wonder Girls, Miss A, 15& and our baby Itzy, we really share a good bond. They, the Got7 oppas have always been there to support and cheer for us since the beginning until now. For that, we are so thankful. Uhm, specially to Mark oppa, I've always admired him for always reaching out for us. He's not the type to socialize a lot and be forward, well as he said, but he's always tried to connect with everyone, with Twice, with me. Every time we come across each other in the JYP building, it's never a dull moment. We, although we are not that close, I mean yes we are but also not. You know what I mean? Even so, we still share a great bond. To be specific, me and him? We both aren't the forward type but we share a strong relat- uh bond. We, click. Even before We Got Married, I can say that we share a special bond, I mean not romantically, that is so soon... but he always have been there and he always reached out to me ever since and I- I think that is great. •
