Part Thirteen - The Home

Mark's POV

We just arrived at our place. We're heading up in our apartment.

"Nervous?" I asked her since she still seemed tense.

"N-no, I'm okay." She responded and smiled thinly.

Few more steps and now we're right outside our apartment.

I reached for the keys that's in my pocket and gave it to her. I'll give her the honors of opening our home.

"You do the rights, open it." I said and she laughed while opening the door.

They're opening it!

Now the door has finally opened. It's the start.

"Oh, it's opened."

• [interview] mina:
I was so happy and nervous at the same time!

• [interview] mark:
I can't wait for the next moments with her!

I looked at her and offered my hand.

"Let's go?"

She took my hand and nodded.

I smiled again, feeling happy as we enter our home.

• [interview] mark:
There was a weird feeling when we entered the house. It's the first time we've been there but it felt like we belong there. Oh, I can't stop smiling!

"Woah. The place looks nice!" She said and started looking around every corner of the home.

It was an up and down unit, perfect for newlyweds. I see a lot of wood, greens, cream and white.

• [interview] mina:
The house looks so good! It was definitely my taste. I liked how everything was put together. It has the perfect amount of classy and homey. And I think Mark oppa liked it too.

"You like it?" I asked her while she was opening the fridge.

She looked at me and smiled.
"It's classy and homey, I love it."

• [hosts]
The house looks so good!

Agreed! The personality and ambience of the house is good!

I didn't notice but I stared at her for good minutes while smiling. She looks so perfect. She looks like my wife.

• [interview] mina:
Oh! Oppa stared at me while smiling. My heart fluttered. I was thinking, why is he being like this all of a sudden? Is he teasing me?!

• [interview] mark:
Good Lord, I'm still in awe that she's my wife. I swear, when you're with her, you'll always be in awe at how elegant she is! She does everything gracefully. I- I lo- I think I- I don't know. Maybe it's the background in ballet? I mean, she's black swan for a reason!

She crossed her arms and raised her brows.

"Quit staring!"

Oh, they're flirting!

They look so cute, teasing each other!

I chuckled, she looks cute.

"I am not! Maybe you're the one staring at me." I said with a smirk as I stepped closer to her.

She noticed it so she moved backwards.

But I stepped closer again.

Her cheeks are turning red, I like it.

She moved backwards, and backwards.

And backwards, until her back touched the wall.

"Why are you being like this?" She said with her hands in front, like trying to signal stop. So I stopped. I stopped stepping forward.

"Being what?"

She crossed her arms again.
"Being weird! You're making me feel nervous!"

I chuckled and moved closer to pat her head. "I was just joking!"

• [interview] mina:
Oppa was being playful and kept moving closer to me so I was nervous. He kept teasing me! But I'm glad he stopped when I told him so. I think I trust him more because of that.

"Ya! Enough of this, I'm hungry! Just lay in the couch first, I want to make dinner for us."

"Alright. But I don't want to sit in the couch, I want to sit here, watching you make dinner." I said and sat in the kitchen island.

"Fine, fine! Just don't tease me! I want to feel like a wife preparing dinner for her husband, okay?"

• [hosts]
Oh, she has fantasies too!

• [hosts]
She looks elegant even with that apron!

I smiled. I like that idea.

"Yes, ma'am!" I said and saluted.

She started preparing the ingredients she'll be using and I just sat there quietly observing.

We were silent for a while...

Until she decided to speak.

"You asked me earlier if I liked the house, how about you? You like it?" She said while doing her thing.

"I like it. I love the palette, it's pleasing in the eyes. And besides, any house would feel nice as long as I'm with you."

She stopped what she was doing and looked at me.

"Eh? Are you doing a line, 애인?"

I chuckled.
"Yes, what do you think?" I raised my brows up and down.

"In all fairness, I like it!" She said and chuckled.

I chuckled too, but she stopped.

She looked at me again.

"But do you mean it?"

"Mean what?"

"That any house would be good as long as I'm with you?"

I smiled. She's cute.
