Todoroki POV

I'm currently sitting in my seat doing nothing but stare into the back of Tokoyami's head. This is the the last class for today, but I still haven't been able to talk to Bakugo as I was hoping for. No matter the effort I put into starting a conversation with him, something or someone always interrupted us. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a coincident when Kirishima just so happened to be the one interrupting us every time. I'm certain some of his excuses was made up, but why? Why doesn't Bakugo want to talk to me? Did I do something-

"Oi! Shut up, bastards!" I flinch and sap out of my thoughts as the angry teen suddenly yells out in annoyance.

I turn around to face him, my monotone expression resting on my face as always. I see the bakusquad surrounding the blonde teens desk while giggling and pointing at him. His arms are tightly crossed over his chest and his legs are resting on top of his desk. Is eyes are shut and his brows are narrowing down. His teeth are gritted and his head is slightly bent downwards so it's hard to see the rest of his adorable face. My monotone expression gets replaced my a more confused one. There's a reddish color spread across his cheeks. Is he sick? Does he have a fever?

"Bro! You're so obvious! You should definitely confess-!". Kirishima cuts himself off when he hears movements coming from beside him.

'Confess?'

The blonde teen gets up from his seat and rushes out the door with his bag lazily thrown over his shoulder. Iida yells something to him about it still being 12 minutes left of class, but he just ignores him.

Kirishima's bright smile quickly dies down. The rest of the bakusquad looks at the seat where Bakugo was previously sitting. "Oh, he forgot his notebook!" Sero reaches out to grab the notebook, but just as he's about to pick it up, I get on my feet and grab it. He backs away slightly and look at me with confused eyes. "I'll gladly return it to him myself. So if you don't mind, i'll go catch up with him now." I say not caring for their response. Because before they even got to say a word, I grabbed my bag and jogged out of the classroom to catch up with Bakugo. I feel the eyes of everyone on me as I reach for the doorknob.

I slam the door behind me and begin jogging down the hall in the direction of the staircase. I'm currently at the third floor. I assume Bakugo took the stairs, because at the time being, the elevator is standing still at the fourth floor. I honestly don't care about the notebook, I just had to make up an excuse to leave. Finding him is important to me, because if I don't, i'll have to wait till Monday before I get another chance to talk to him again.

I run down the stairs almost tripping in my own legs. My tie is slightly loose, it's fluttering through the air as I jump down another set of stairs.

'Damn it, he's probably out of the building already', I clench my fists and quicken my pace. I'm soon at the bottom of the staircase. I feel my heart beating quickly in my chest as I run past the second floor exit door. Then, at the bottom of the first floor stairs, I see the back of the blonde male. He's busy tying his shoelaces. I slow down to a calmer pace as I silently walk down towards Bakugo. He hasn't noticed me yet, so I decide calling out his name is the best way to get his attention.

"Bakugo! You forgot your notebook in the classroom!" I notice him flinch and let go of his shoelaces before quickly looking in my direction, with wide and shocked eyes. He gets up from his knees and turns around to open the door. "Wha-, wait-!" I yell as I reach out to him, even though I'm on the top top of the stairs and he's at the bottom. But suddenly, he's down on all four rubbing his knees in agony.
