There will be times when the closest person
Will be out of reach,
Times where you no longer have a shoulder to lean on
Just your own two feet,
And in those moments you find out just how strong or weak,
You really are.
Not only fighting demons but now you're fighting them in your sleep,
Just remember, sometimes fighting alone lends all the strength that you need.
Sometimes fighting alone makes you feel stronger even in defeat.
But don't forget, the ones who aren't there still have faith in you.
That's why they aren't always there for you when you need them to.
Just be sure to do whatever it is that you were destined to do.
Because truth be told, life never lies to you...
