Child's Play - Avengers Fanfic

Chapter 10

Phil's POV

I took the kids and the stuff we bought in the tower. I had the maid out the clothes and food away. I took up all the kids in my arms and sat with them on the couch. I turned on the tv.

Peter was talking baby talk to his stuffed spider who he seemed to name bubba or bob I couldn't tell. He was also sitting on my shoulder. Steve was in my arms fast asleep and Bruce was flicking the channels.

I was happy because they were quiet. I heard the elevator door open and Maria, Loki and Thor walked in. A laughing Loki was being carried by an angry Maria. I then noticed Thor was holding a ripped up purse that looked to be part alligator because it had jaws.

I also noticed the bite marks on her arms. I guessed magic happened and Maria was fighting an angry pursagator. I guess she won an she wanted to kill Loki. I rushed to put Steve down to help her. I didn't have to put Peter down because his fingers and toes where stuck to the back of my shirt. I grabbed Loki from Maria and I told Thor to get on the couch.

"Are you ok sweetie?" I asked knowing the answer.

"No I am not okay my purse tried to eat me. And it's all look is fault I wish we could end him now." She looked like she was about to grab Loki.

"Maria sweetie I think you should take a nice warm shower. And then put some new clothes on ok." I said. She went up stairs to the bathroom and shut the door.

I looked down in my arms and saw a crying Loki. He looked so sad and his eyes were red a puffy. I really felt bad for him at his age Maria words must feel like death. I hope I could make him feel better and I also hope that Maria will calm down in the shower.

I carried Loki to the couch were I sat down with the rest of the kids. As I sat down Pepper open the door. She looked okay but Tony look like he ha insulted or hit on someone's wife at the bar again. Clint's far was red like completely red and Nat was laughing.

I wonder what happened to them. Pepper put Tony and Nat on the couch. Tony as soon as he was put down got up and ran tithe other side of the couch. This gave me a clue of what had happened.

Tony was probably messing with Nat. Then Clint beat his @$$. I kinda felt bad for Tony. I knew for experience that when Clint was mad nothing in heaven or earth could help you. I remember when I broke his bow string I was sore every where for weeks.

I looked at the children then I realized Loki was gone. I don't know where he went he was sitting on my right crying into my arm. I got up and searched for him. I heard crying I looked at the wall. I walked to it and pressed my eat against it.

I heard Loki's crying. How did he get inside the wall? I looked around. I came upon a open vent. It was just small enough that adults couldn't fit but just big enough that kids could fit. I stuck my head in. I turned to the right I saw Loki.

"Buddy can you please come out of there?" I asked.

"No. Maria wants me gone so I am going to stay in here forever." He said sobbing in between words.

I went to the bathroom. I knocked on the door. Maria came out with a reddish purple bath robe on. She had tied the straps around her waist.

"You need something Phil? Hey Phil my head is up here." She said. I looked at her face embarrassed.

"Um Loki is in the vents. He said he isn't coming out because you said you don't want him." I said.

"Oh. I feel so bad. I didn't mean that I was just made because my thousand dollar purse grew legs and jaws and tried to eat me. Let me go talk to him." She said heading down stairs.

Maria's POV

"Loki am sorry I didn't mean what I said please come out." I said.

"No because you don't like me anymore." He said his eyes where red and his skin was blue in tent and the vent was getting cold.

"I am sorry Loki. I do want you just please coming out." I said I took my head out of the vent. Suddenly Loki was hugging me.

"I love you mommy." He said.

"I love you to" Wait  what did he call me. Oh no.
