Settling In Chapter 4

Caroline led the 3 wolves back to the place where they shifted. Again she retold on how to turn back, they all separated so they could shift privately taking their clothes with them. They regrouped after shifting

"Niklaus-" Caroline started

"Just Klaus would suffice" Klaus interjected but Caroline made it known by a glare sent his way that she doesn't like being interrupted

"Well then Klaus" she drawled out "What was the reason you shifted? If I remember right Kol said that the first transition for you was excruciatingly painful."

"Well then...I have to have a little chat with my little brother about him blabbing our life's story, and the reason I guess is that I haven't shifted with other hybrids since...ever. I wanted to see how it felt like" Klaus said shrugging his shoulders and putting his hand in his jean pockets

"Daire and Darius, call your sister Victoria to come pick you up...I have business with this hybrid and I would like to know you are safe and sound. Check up on the coven and tell them to go into hiding until I summon them. Understood?" Caroline said looking at her niece and nephew who were glaring at Klaus and shot him with distrustful looks

"My Queen with all due respect, I don't trust that hybrid. And both my sister and I would feel relieved to stay with you" Darius said carefully which earned him a growl from Klaus

"Darius I understand but...I protect family. You are but children, if you were to die I would never be able to forgive myself. Please return home and if you are still worried I will send word to Victoria about my whereabouts" Caroline said softly, which broke through with at least Daire since she took out her phone and dragged Darius while talking with who Caroline assumed was Victoria about picking them up and bringing her clothes since she is in a cloak, after they are out of earshot and sight she vamped at Klaus and threw him at a tree driving 2 branches on his shoulder and stomach. 

"Those 2 were for killing the five and daggering Kol. Now I will only say this once Hybrid. Touch Kol or my family and I will personally wake up Mikael and tell him about your location. Do I make myself clear?" Caroline said with cold eyes and venom tone, but Klaus being Klaus pulled out the branches and grabbed Caroline by the neck and slammed her on the ground. Caroline just laughed and twisted his arm and she was straddling him with his stomach on the ground and her on top

"Listen closely because I WILL ONLY SAY THIS ONCE. You DO NOT want to make an enemy out of me. I have a hybrid pack that is at my beck and call. Not only that but I also have few enemies, dozens of covens and my vampire bloodline. Including my family and Kol, I am stronger, faster, smarter, and deadlier than you. You'd do well to keep that in mind" She whispered in his ear, then she broke his two arms and legs. He roared out in pain but awed at her power

"Those were for hunting my dear Katerina or Katherine, daggering Kol which meant taking him away from me, and sacrificing Elena. The other is just for fun" Caroline let go of Klaus who is practically seething with rage

"Now...I need that sword. You can't translate it, so get the hell out of Mystic Falls. I will give you till midnight tonight to give me that sword and never return. Do not test my patience just ask Kol what happened to the City of Atlantis when they didn't heed my warning. Good day Niklaus Mikealson" with that said she whooshed to town and left Klaus, and a very angry one at that in the woods. 

He pulled out his phone and dialed Elijah "Big brother I need you here at Mystic Falls. NOW. Bring your most powerful witch or warlock. I need to find our dear little brother Kol before midnight. This is not up for debate" and with that not even bothering to hear Elijah out he hung up and stomped back to his mansion contemplating on what to do with this new threat.
