Chapter Seven

Lola

I just laid in my bed in my new apartment crying, because the man who took me in and cared for me as one of his own was angry with me. Domino couldn't be more of a father if he tried. He took care of me when I had no one so it hurts that he is angry with me right now.

I heard my door open and close so I knew it was one of the girls, because nobody knew where I lived.

"Lo are you home?" I heard Sky calling out to me.

Sky and I were very close. We hang out and go shopping together. She is the only one that knows about Barry and Juan. I'm glad she is hear so I could talk to her.

"Girl why you still laying up in this bed? Tell me how the Round Table went." She asked sitting on my bed.

The last thing I wanted to talk about was last night. I still wanted that bitch Sabrina's head.

"Girl Sabrina came at me so you know I beat that ass. Worst part is pop knows about me and Juan. He also asked me about Barry. He choked me out and told me don't make me his enemy." I said as tears fell from my eyes uncontrollably.

"Damn Lo. Come here. It's gonna be ok, you know dad loves you to death just like he loves us. He is just upset." Sky said pulling me into a sisterly hug.

"Well I'm next on the list, because I just found out I am pregnant. I haven't even spoken to Anthony and you are the only one that knows." She said.

I sat up and really looked at her. She was glowing and her nose was definitely wide.

"Damn Sky. What you gonna do? You know he is going to loose it." I said.

She just shrugged her shoulders. There was going to be a war for sure now.

Just then in walks Domino, Yolanda, and Skylar. Domino seemed a lot calmer.

"Look Lola I never meant to grab you up like that, but this is not what I want you for you. You deserve someone great and I know that he loves you because I saw that in his eyes when I spoke with him today, but I don't want him for you. I have to respect you are grown and you can make your own decisions, but if he hurts you his ass is good as dead." He said.

I knew that was his way of apologizing and I accepted it by giving him a huge hug.

"Daddy since we are all here I have to tell you guys something." Sky said.

I don't know why she felt she had to do this right now, but lord please don't let anyone die tonight.

"What is it baby girl?" He asked.

"I haven't been feeling so go lately. I went to my doctor and she told me that I am six weeks pregnant." She said.

Looking at Domino you can tell that the room started spinning and time had completely stopped. I was afraid and I'm never scared.

"Tell me that this is one of those fucked up pranks. Tell me that your playing or that nigga Anthony is as good as dead." He said through clinched teeth.

The look on Sky face was how did he know about Anthony and this was a bad time. She pulled out the ultrasound showing him that this was indeed real and that he was gonna be a grandfather.

"Daddy please don't kill him?" She asked as tears streamed her face.

"WHY? WHY THE FUCK IS EVERYONE AFTER MY FUCKING DAUGHTER'S!?" He yelled angrily.

I knew that nothing good was about to come from this and I guess the other girls knew it too.

"Yolanda you betta stay the fuck away from G-money. Yeah I know. I know every fucking thing that happens in these streets. Sky let's go have a chat with Anthony." Domino said storming out with Sky right behind him.

Tonight could be the murder of Anthony and he doesn't even know it.
