Adains POV

I was walking to my car on my way to the office when Auttie pulled into her usual spot. That's when I saw her car. There were gun shot holes in the trunk of her car and her back window was shattered. What the hell?

Auttie got out and went to the back of her car, examening the damage. "What the hell happened to your car?" I asked. Auttie jumped clearly not knowing I was there.

"Oh! God I didn't even see you there. Uh, I got into an accident." she said, obviously trying to be as vauge as possible, and clearly lying.

"An accident that involves bullets?" I inquired, cocking an eyebrow eying her with caution. "Why do you want to know? Why do you care?" she questioned.

"Someone was trying to kill you, right?"

Nothing. She just starred at me, with a blank expression on her face.

"Auttie don't you get it? People are killing the best racers here in East Side. You are now the best, and now you're the next target. But no one knows why. Do you?"

"You're acting like you know everything! Well I'm here to tell you that you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Stop thinking that you know everything about me and my life. You don't know a thing about me. You don't know a thing about my world, so stop trying to figure it out!" She stormed off out of the garage and headed into the city. I decided to follow her.

I pulled on a black hoodie and pulled up the hood so she wouldn't recongnize me. I stayed a safe distance behind her so she wouldn't get suspisious of anything.

She was heading to the run down side of town and once she got there she turned right into an ally. I peeked around the corner and looked. She was talking to this one black guy, sitting on a bumper of a pretty nice car. It looked like he was smoking a joint. He looked like your tipical gangster drug dealer, nothing I haven't seen before. Just your run of the mill scum bag.

The guy offered Auttie some but she declined and kept talking. I couldn't make out what she was saying but by the hand motions she was making and her facial expression it looked like she wasn't that happy. She looked furious infact.

The guy said something back to her and he looked pretty smuge about whatever he said. All of a sudden Auttie pulled out a gun from under her hoodie and pointed it at the guys head. The guy looked.... scared? Usually the only way gangsters get scared is if a gun is pointed at them and they know the person will shoot if they didn't get what they wanted.

I wasn't going to move until something happend because I wanted to know what she was asking him. He put his hand up as if surrendering and motioning her to put the gun down while saying something. Probably trying to calm her down. She eventouatly put the gun down but didn't put it away. She kept it cocked in her hand.

He opened the trunk to his car and pulled out what looked like to be some kind of file. She took the file from him and walked away chucking him a wad of bills in the process. I quickly moved away so she wouldn't see me. She started to walk from the way she came. I wanted to take a short cut so I would get there before her and make it look like I went where I was going, and came back.

I got to my car, got in and turned it on. I waited until I saw Auttie pass the garage door. I turned it off and hurried inside and ran up the stairs to my room. I got there just in time to see Auttie round the corner. I looked at her and she looked at me, but then chose to ignore me.

"Whats that?" I asked as she came to her door. She turned toward me, "Oh, it's nothing. Just some information I need. Nothing you need to worry about Mr. Nosy Body." she unlocked her apartment and locked the door behind her. I need to find out what those files are, before Auttie does something ruthless.
