Chapter 4

Madison's POV
It's been over a week since I met Daniel for the first time, he wasn't too bad of a person but he wasn't the type of guy that I would want in a boyfriend. We've been texting each other for a bit but I tried my best to avoid him since he just wasn't too great. There was just something about him that I didn't quite like, but I could put up with him as a friend. We decided that tomorrow would be the perfect day for hanging out at the beach with his friends and mine. I decided to text him one last time to check if we're both on the same page.
Madison: Hey, are we still on for tomorrow?

Daniel's POV
It was a nice Friday night and the guys and I decided that we should all lay low and have a movie night instead of going out all the time. We ordered some pizza and invited some of our YouTube friends over like Kian and JC, Sam and Colby and some others. I was talking to Crawford as we ate and he was asking me about my 'relationship' and I wasn't even allowed to tell him that it was all for publicity. I didn't even like Madison at all but she was a decent friend.

"So, what's it like being famous and in a relationship. You've been getting a lot of publicity right as it started, must be hard." Crawford said as everyone else was having their own conversations. I hate to fake every single word I said and it was actually so hard for me since Crawford was a great friend, "Bro, I'm not that famous but it definitely gets hard to have so many fans and be with Madison at the same time. I'm really happy that Madison is also in the entertainment industry so she deals with the publicity and hate very well, it doesn't get to her as much as other people."

"Yeah, it definitely helps but I can't even imagine how hard it gets sometimes. It's probably not too bad right now because you just started dating, and I hope it goes well for the both of you.  Also, here's a tip even if I don't have a much of a fanbase as you, try your best to stay away from the paparazzi because they can stir up rumours that can ruin everything you have between her, and I can tell that Madison is a great girl knowing how you talk about her. Just try your best not to hurt her, be that amazing guy you are, Daniel" Crawford said just as Jack came to join the conversation "Dude that's what I'm telling him, I mean I literally just got out of a relationship with Gabriella because of the whole rumour thing. Personally, I think Daniel is good enough to keep everything under control." Jack said and gave me a small wink since he was literally one of the friends that was allowed to know that this was all fake.

I sat next to Corbyn while we were playing video games and just chilling as I received a text from Madison which interrupted me from the game. "Does she really have to text me right now, what the hell" I whisper yelled so only Jack and Corbyn could hear. "Bro, she isn't that bad, why do you hate her so much." Corbyn said as he paused the game to wait for me to reply. "You only say that because you haven't met her." I said as Zach came into the conversation "But we will tomorrow right? At the beach?"

"Oh, yeah. I almost forgot about that. I think that's why she texted you right?" Jonah said as he came into the room with his drink. I just nodded and replied to the text message.
Daniel: Definitely, meet us at Malibu beach at 9 so we can have breakfast there
Madison: Okay, we doing anything after?
Daniel: I think we should decide when we're there. Let's leave it to mystery.
Madison: Sounds good to me! Make sure to look good for the paps
Daniel: I always look flattering but for you, that's a whole other story
Madison: You're hilarious, must get all the girls with that kind of humour

I put my phone down after a good ten to fifteen minutes and went to play beer pong with the guys. "Daniel, you should bring your girl and her friends to our party tomorrow night. It's about to be so lit." Colby said as he sipped his bottle of beer. "I'll make sure to ask her" I replied and we all continued to have a great night.

The Next Day
Madison's POV
I was currently at Malibu beach with my friends Chantelle, Kelly and Isabelle waiting for the boys to arrive. We arrived a little earlier then planned because I wanted to take in every part of Malibu since I haven't been here since summer and it was currently February. "I can't wait to meet your new boyfriend, what's his name again. Daniel Seavey right?" Isabelle said curiously as we walked in the sand. "Yeah, he's great. You guys will probably like him." I said quite nervously because I didn't tell them that this was all for publicity.
