Rebecca's POV
Colby had came back from his knee injury and he was going after the WWE title it was also around this time that the WWE were splitting the roster in half. I knew if Colby and I were split we would miss each other a lot but if it helped with my career he was going to be happy that I was finally getting my chance at a championship. Meanwhile Colby and I were going from strength to strength as a couple and now I could see him being my husband little did I know that he felt the same.
Colby's POV
I had gotten the engagement ring and for me it was perfect in every single way. The only time that I didn't want Rebecca to wear it was when she was wrestling and when she was working out. The design of the ring meant a lot to me because it was our journey as a couple. I had 3 little diamonds on the side leading up to 1 big diamond in the middle. The ring was simple and elegant just like Rebecca I wanted a ring that would just look gorgeous on her. I knew that from the last 9 months is the happiest I've ever been.
Meeting Rebecca's parents I was so nervous because I wanted to make a good impression and I had my letters for Annette and Ken. I walked in to Annettes house with Rebecca by my side and we sat down and started to talk.
Annette: So how are you going darling?
Rebecca: I'm good mom and for the first time I'm happy.
Annette: You're in love.
Rebecca: Yeah he is the love of my life and I want to be his wife.
Colby heard this conversation and decided to ask Annette for her blessing. So Rebecca went to the store here was my opening to get Annette's permission.
Colby: So Mrs. Quinn..
Annette: Colby please call me Annette.
Colby: Annette I want to let you know that I love your daughter so much and I wanted to ask you if I can marry your daughter.
Annette: Colby I think it's too early for that but I see it in her face she loves you and you are her future so yes you can marry my daughter.
Colby: Thank you so much Annette.
Annette: Can I give you a piece of advice?
Colby: Yes.
Annette: Make sure when you propose that she looks at you.
Colby: I will.
Colby was excited he had got one yes from the hard parent and now he was going to get his second yes from the easy parent. Colby knew that all Ken cared about was if his kids were happy. Where Annette on the other hand was the parent who worried about her kids. Colby knew that this conversation was going to be easier. Colby loved Rebecca with everything in his heart and he definitely wanted Rebecca to be his wife. Colby and Rebecca were perfect together in every single way and they gel together.
